Thanks so much! I had little hope of finding something when I searched for "How to hide light power cord for sign" but your video showed up! This is perfect to hide the power cord for my metal sculpture in my spa that I'm adding lights to. thanks again.

😂 “Sarah prefers it painted, as everything”. My husband has the same feeling towards me 🤣

This video is excellent; very useful information. I am going to try this to hide all the wires from my under-cabinet lighting in my kitchen. Thank you!

First of all, I love your light fixture. Second, that's a cool solution for ugly cords. Third, Emmett is a fine presenter. Cheers, Ardith

Thanks so much! I needed to see this solution. Especially that last part where you covered the bottom. My switch is at the top and I had no idea I could split it up so that the switch still shows but the cord is covered. I was thinking I was doomed to having the cord just show all together. I hope to see more videos from you. Especially on how you styled your shelves. Love your blog!

Thanks. Looks straight but personally I would have drawn a pencil line exactly parallel with the door frame first.

Hi, love your wall sconce, where is it from? Could you please also provide details of where you bought the wire covering?

Silly me. I put 2 old work boxes in the wall, one for the fixture and 1 for a switch, pry off the baseboard with putty knives so I can hide the holes I’ll have to make in the plaster to drill through the studs to fish power from a duplex outlet to power the switch and the light and then use a thin piece of plywood and a rubber mallet to put the baseboard back on without messing up the finish. I can’t say if it’s more or less $ than the taped on plastic sheath. It’s 30 minutes to an hour if you’ve done it before, longer if you haven’t.

Where do you buy it Amazon? Can you link it ? Thanks

I have no idea how I landed here but your yellow sweater and that perfect lip color are gorgeous together. Seriously. I don't even know what that dude built cause I stopped to write this message. What lip color is it?
