- La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 can be used by anyone from babies to adults. It can be applied on the face, body, lips etc.
Which Do I Prefer? Honestly, I like the SPF version better as it doesn't leave me with a cast and it is lighter in texture.

I'm confused about this product the spf one seems to be especially to protect new tattoos ,cuts and scratches from the sun but i can't find anything about using it as a sunscreen for the face? At least not here in Spain, strange thing is on the website here it says " if using during the day make sure you use sun protection ?? 😏🤔😂

I really like the product because it doesn't feel like sunscreen so if it works as a sunscreen for the face that would be great 😊❤️
I just got feedback from La Roche Posay “ Hello, It contains SPF but we do not consider it a sunscreen and they advise you should apply sunscreen over it 💙”

I started to use Cicaplast after I destroyed my skin barrier with too much serums, it fixed it in just couple of days. Since that time I use it as moisturiser and I LOVE it. Love the feel of it, consistency, everything. My skin is naturally dry and it can get very dry thru some months as I work outside and this product is a life saver 💙💙💙

Hello thanks for the review,you guys are truly helping women of colour to find good products🙏🙏,that aside,I got both products,the both of them had a white cast,the spf cast was even worse contrary to your video,but it’s not a big deal for me,my question now is,are both of them moisturisers??? Or the normal one is a moisturiser and the one with spf 50 is a sunscreen???
Hi, from the response gotten from LRP, they are both moisturisers. The one with SPF should be used in the day time with sunscreen over it. I hope this helps.

The SPF50 leaves a cast on my skin but it's very very minimal compared to the regular version and sadly it stings because chemical filters 🤷🏾♂️

Yes, you can but make sure to apply sunscreen over it when you step out because the brand recommends you should.

I bought the normal cicaplast baume in amazon japan, but I got the product with SPF instead. I wanna use that for moisturizer in the night only, but since it comes with SPF, so I can't use it at night right?
I try to use it but the smell is also different with the one without SPF, and this makes my eyes sting also.
Yes, you can't do it at night because it contains SPF.
Great information. To be clear, in simple terms... the La Roche Cicaplast with SPF30 or SPF50 is useless as a sunscreen. Because of that, what's the point of adding SPF? Comes off as false advertising.
I really don't know but they recommend one should apply sunscreen over the cicaplast with SPF.
@@TamunoAbbey Thank you. It's so strange that they recommend this. As if their SPF is doesn't work and is false advertising. I bought it specifically because I thought it would take out another step. That the product was 2 in 1.
@@NameCanTakeAllDay It may be because it doesn't form a proper film on skin. The moment you start sweating, it starts coming off, and it won't work as a sunscreen in that case. One could use it as a sunscreen only in cold weather or if you are the type who doesn't sweat much.
