Yes! Bouncing all songs to 1 file and setting hot cues for the start of each track is the way!

  • @jsolethedj

Great tips my brother. Weddings are definitely a high pressure event and when those details are missed,,,,,ohhhh man,,,,,,I know that feeling all too well.

  • @Main1Event

I've had a couple of stories like that over the years. I mean we are human, it happens. Whats worse is when the bridal party changes songs or their order, then all that preparation opens up the possibility of failure.

I have a tip for you my friend. I like you deck set up. If you go to Home Depot or Lowe’s you can pick up your table measurements in real wood. Put them together in the same way you have it and put it back on top of the legs you already have. It could cost you 75 bucks. And you can make it a little bigger if you want more space underneath. You can do it it’s simple and it won’t be particle board

  • @eespecialeventsdj

Let em know bro! Never stream when a perfectly good mp3 will work. Buy/own the music files and keep backups.

  • @stayhappy9893

Good info. Which audio converter do you use? thanks

Too much work.... I have a much easier solution. #1 I make sure I have every song I need and I don't care what folder they are located in... #2 I create a temp virtual serato folder in serato pro... at the bottom of my crates for that wedding and call it by the couples name... 3rd step I drag and drop all the songs I need into the temp virtual folder..... When you copy the songs into the virtual serato folder you don't move the songs from where they are located... all you're doing is creating another shortcut. I remove the Artist Name and label them #1, #2, #3...... as needed. When I'm ready for the wedding event, I open up the folder all the songs are there in order when I sort the file by Artist name.... When the wedding is over.. I resent the Artist name on the songs and delete the Temp folder.....using Control and Delete. All the songs remain right where they were. Just a simple Control Delete not "Control Alt Delete" because that will delete all the music from your hard drive. Hope that helps. That's the great thing I love about Serato you can move music files around as needed and not effect where they are located......I do the same thing when I Play in a club.... I create a virtual folder on serator.... I drag and drop all the songs I want to play for that event into the folder and when I am done with the event, I just delete the virtual folder by pressing Control Delete.agin NOT Control, Alt and Delete because that totally wipes out your song from your hard drive...... I said it twice because I don't want anyone to make that mistake.
