    Sick man, want to do the same to mine. The fork protection doesn’t fit with the wider tires?

    • @mhbuilds
      @mhbuilds  Před 7 měsíci

      Yes it's defenitly worth it man! No but you can cut them a bit with a hot knife that way they are a bit shorter and the fit.

      @@mhbuilds noticed your channel because of the wr200 build. love this project as well! will there be more content of that bike?
      And of the crf too please 🙏

      @mhbuilds  Před 10 měsíci

      @@mikesch38 Yes the wr200 was a nice bike and I would've loved to continue the project but it was more interesting to sell it at that point. ( a similar project might come back later) The crf will defenitly still be on the channel and I have alot of stuff planned for it. So the crf is safe ;)

    heel netjes! ik heb ook zojuist een crf300l gekocht maar dan de rally en wil toch wel heel graag en sm set eronder. enig idee wat je kwijt was inc schijf en tandwiel en banden voor complete set :P

    • @mhbuilds
      @mhbuilds  Před 2 měsíci

      Bedankt! Proficiat met je aankoop, je er gaat er geen spijt van hebben. Schijf en tandwiel heb ik persoonlijk niet gekocht aangezien het een dualsport is zijn deze ook al sterk genoeg t.o.v. een echte enduro. Heb ze enkel gewisseld. Voor de vlegenset had ik voor een 1033 euro. Daar is natuurlijk wel wat speling op naargelang welke opties je neemt. Voor de banden had ik voor een 260 euro met montage.
      Nog een prettige dag!

    Hello. What tire sizes did you use? Were any modifications needed or would it be enough to just replace the wheels? Regards

    • @mhbuilds
      @mhbuilds  Před 9 měsíci +1

      I used a 110/70/17 in the front and 150/60/17 in the back. I did not reamly have any rubbing issues you just have to alling them in teh centre. Fork mudcard will need to be removed or adapted otherwise they will rub. Thanks for watching 🤙🏻

      @@sikador8627 I already rode on the bike with 2 people and its does not rub. It might rub if you take a big jump but im not sure. So for sofar I know it won't rub.

    Front brake disc? Is the same? Don't need adapter?

    • @mhbuilds
      @mhbuilds  Před 5 měsíci +2

      Front brake disc is the same because the bike is a dual sport so it's already made for the street. You don't need an adaptor it's just bolt on. With a real enduro bike I do recommend to put a bigger brakedisc due to them being moore powerfull and not streetminded :)

    What about the ABS? Speedometer still correct?

    • @mhbuilds
      @mhbuilds  Před 6 měsíci

      Abs no issue, speedometer is not correct anymore. I contacted my honda shop and told me there aren't speedometer setting like you have on the exc bikes unfortunatly.
      So the solution is to buy an external speedometer to measure form the wheel or use a phone holder (wich I do).

      @@mhbuildshow do I start with this supermoto build? How do I know which parts to choose and how do I know it will fit? Like brake rotor? Or did the company you got it from make the wheels specifically for the crf300?

    • @mhbuilds
      @mhbuilds  Před 6 měsíci

      You can basically buy what ypu want and slowly build it up from there. For the wheels you can go to ngrracingproducts in the Netherlands. I live in Belgium so it's close to home. If you contact them they explain what you have to do if you want to buy the wheels for that bike. For the brake rotors you don't have to do anything. You can just switch thel from you offroad rim to the supermotorim because it is a dualsport the bike already has brakes that are good for the road.

      The stock sprockets on the CRF300L are 14/40. With a supermoto set up your rear wheel gets smaller (150/60-17) so your speedometer will read faster than you are going. You have converted speed into torque. A lot of sumo guys want more torque so they will either leave this or make it even worse by making their final sprock 14/42 this is all personal feel and taste but there is a simple solution to this on the 300L. If you make your sprockets 15/40 you almost perfectly undo the difference caused by the rear tire change. It's not exact but it makes it so your speedometer is less than 1% off. So if you want your milage and speed to be correct just run a 15/40.
