    Great vid.. very thorough, I see that you also have a DRz400 SM, quick question if you had to choose between the Suzuki and the Honda, which one would you recommend,? I'm on the market for a supermoto bike and I'm down to these two thanks... a lot

      Thanks for the feedback and I’m glad to help! This is a passion of mine. I’ve got close to 7k miles on the CRF now and still running like new. If cost isn’t an issue I would say go with the Honda. Comparing the two bikes they’re both very reliable and fun bikes to ride. But with the Honda having efi and weight/ power advantages- it takes the cake.

    out of curiosity when you changed to the 17" wheels how much did that drop the seat height?

    • @vertvlogs675
      @vertvlogs675 Před rokem

      I didn't measure when I did my conversion. But going from the stock wheels to the supermoto wheels made me go from standing on my toes with both feet down to being able to flat foot on both sides. I'd guess it dropped the seat an inch or two.

    Sick bike, I just got a 2022 but thinking about keeping the bigger rims and just putting street tires on the bigger rims since I’m a bigger guy and want to keep it at the height it is at now. Should I change the sprocket for better wheelies ? I can power wheelie in 2nd and pull up hard to get it up in 3rd. The vortex ecu is coming this winter and so is the yoshi, I kno it helps tremendously but I’m wondering if a sprocket change should be done too ?

    How's the difference between the drz and the Honda?

    • @DIDDLYWAYNE
      @DIDDLYWAYNE  Před 2 lety

      Drz is a solid bike for the money. Comparing it to the Honda really isn’t fair because they are almost not comparable. For the price of the 450 you’re getting an aluminum frame, which yields a lighter bike. A “performance engine” 6 speed transmission, fuel injection, good suspension (same as the race models just valved softer) drz is stuck in the Stone Age with a steel frame, carbureted engine, and 5 speed. But also way more affordable. So depending on what you want as a rider would decide what you want- you want an expensive fast street legal reliable dirt bike- go Honda. If you just want something to ride on the street with the same reliability but slower? Go drz
