i love the concept of the cadence containers, they’re so cute, the fact that you can customize them is great, and i think the magnetic “snap” is so cool. i just cant get over how thick the material looks, when im packing for weeks in a carry on, i cant justify sacrificing that much space :(
good point - def can’t take these when I’m traveling for weeks. I use them for for weekend getaways since they can only hold so much 😗

Great video! I always enjoy watching what other people pack in their carry-on bags when they travel. Your must-haves are so practical and stylish. That 21-inch base carry-on roller looks amazing with its smooth rolling wheels and expandable interior. The beis mini weekender looks like it would fit under the airplane seat in front of you, but would the bigger weekender fit under the seat in front of you? I always take a carry on suitcase and a bigger personal item bag to go under the seat since I can pack more and not have to check any bags!
I dont think the bigger weekender would fit under the seat! My mini weekender fits just right

How did you like the beis duffel bag? I found it to be bulky when it is on my shoulder and difficult to open / close. It just was not practical.
I always set it down when I need to open and close it - I think it’s bc of the laptop compartment. But I didn’t find it to be that difficult! The shoe compartment is a bit hard to zip back in if you’ve completely removed it tho. Had to ask my bro for help 😅

Amazon has a very similar bag to the Bento bag, all the same pockets, trolley sleeve, etc., for only $42.00.

What are the dimensions of the Beis carry on luggage? I checked it on the website but I’m not sure the wheels and the handle are included. I’m traveling to Thailand with Air France and I heard they are very strict about the carry on size.

I've been holding off on the beis stuff for a while but this makes me want to buy them. Are you allowed to bring both the carry on luggage and the weekender onto the plain? Does the weekender go under your seat?
So I brought my weekender on the plane (I have the mini) and if you put a lot of stuff in, it won’t go under the seat completely so I just put it on in overhead bin! Carry on can be brought in :)
Some places don’t allow you to expand it though just FYI! I had to zip it to make it slimmer.

I don’t think that any of the commenters are quite understanding this question. With most North American airlines, you get a carry-on (max dimensions about 22 x 14 x 9 inches) and a personal item (varies by airline, but United is 17 x 10 x 9 inches). If you have more than this, or if the gate agent calls out your personal item for exceeding these dimensions at the gate, you have to consolidate or check (at a cost to you). You might get lucky and sneak by, but it’s (1) kind of impolite to other passengers as you’re taking more than you’re allotted space when some people may not even get a single carry on due to no space (2) a stressful way to travel, as you have too much stuff to carry.
I used to try to sneak in as much as possible when I was younger and I was just making the flight extra uncomfortable for myself and making everyone’s lives more difficult. I also made travel way more stressful and upsetting by not thinking through my absolute essentials that need to be with me at all times vs. what needs to be in an overhead bag that I may be asked to check. I have travelled a lot, and can’t count the number of times that I’ve had to check my carry on because the overhead bins were completely full. It seems to almost always be the case that there isn’t enough space.
So you can’t depend on being able to throw your extra detached parcel from this bag (a third item) in the overhead bin because it didn’t fit under the seat. The Beis weekender (and many popular weekenders) are advertised in a very misleading way by being styled on top of carry-ons to show the trolley sleeve. In reality, this bag and many others can’t fit under the seat as is. They constitute an overhead check in and not a personal item. The trolley sleeve is not very useful because in fact, you’d have to check one of the two at the gate (and the airline prefers you to check at check in), which will likely cause a commotion. These days they charge you extra for not following the rules and checking upon arrival.
Some people might get away with bringing a personal item that can’t fit under the seat, and then against the rules using the carry-on space alotted for two passengers, but I repeat that it’s not a dependable plan to hope that you aren’t called out.
As someone who has travelled as a very broke student trying to get from one city to another via plane, I know the struggle and recommend reading the airlines dimensions and heeding.
