No the second meal is not usual, only Air France does this stupid thing where you only get a box filled with junk food items from the discounted supermarket alley (including baby food apple puree). They even do this on flights longer than yours i.e Paris to Singapore/Tokyo so imagine after 13-14 hours and all you get is that cheap snack box with no proper second meal. Proper cost cutting

Well not just Airfrance, you have to add Luthansa and Iberia. "Junk food from the discounted supermarket alley" that made me chuckle 🤣
