Awesome little farm you've got. And you've got a lot going on. Lots of different animals. The garden looks good. I had never seen cukes just growing on the ground before, always seen them suspended from a fence or cattle panels. Interesting to see how well they grow like you have them planted. Can't wait to see the progress.
Great video, I really enjoyed the tour! What a difference 2 zones can make. I live in the cariboo region of B.C. Canada, which is zone 3. I have to grow all my peppers,tomatoes and cucumbers in our greenhouse,as our last frost date is late May, and we get first frosts in early September. Root crops do really well here, as do the brassicas. I grow raspberries and black currants. Our 1/2 acre veg garden is completed surroundied by a 7 foot fence. DEer are a real problem here and will destroy a garden overnight. The same goes for my flower and rose gardens. The first year we were here we didn't know about the deer, and I went to bed with a dozen roses in full bloom,and woke up to every single blossom and bud gone. I'm looking forward to learning about how you build your raised beds. Im in my late sixties and getting down on my knees isn't as easy as it used to be.
