You have to either buy the soil maps or take the soil samples. Theres several youtube videos out showing how to do that process
Id rather see more realistic weather coming in to play affecting crops,yeilds ect ect and irrigation of different types, pivot, pipe, sprinklers
With water you can raise good crops on sand with nutrient managment
Yea I wish someone would come out with a Georgia map with the round fields and the pivots if I was a modder I’d make my cousins farm that he has irl
Really hope they add buy soil, so you can apply 100% loam to any field, and then must replow it to mix it
Or as you add organics like manuer or woodchips the loam content will rise.

I got a field that is about 90% silty clay. Thinking I'm gonna sale it and move on cause it's a large field and I can't see taking that hit
It seems some crops like some soil types better than others. Soybeans seem to yield better in the crappier soil for example. I have not extensively tested, but it is something I have noticed.

Do bees affect it in pf?
I believe you should still see a boost if you have bees on your farm and using PF.
My corn only gets 65%yield on every field whil i have done everything to have high yield
Is corn the only crop that you are getting 65% yield? What are your soil types?
@@Driver53Gaming 65% is on all stil types, haven't tried an other crop, but for forage it does 65% and for combining it it does just 100%
