I've noticed a lot of the included buildings (not talking mods) that are in the game it looks like they have lights in the rafters but they can't be turned on at night. I don't get it and FS games get super dark at night and kinda sucks.

If I have weeding/lime etc required turned off in settings does precision farming overwrite those settings thereby requiring me to do those to up the yield %?

Why not use the whiskers soil sampler? Far as I remember it was far quicker than the other. Thx
There is only one soil sampler at this time for FS22
If you are talking about the crop sensors they only measure nitrogen, nothing else
Hi, thanks for all the videos on precision farming very helpful as its first time trying for me. However i am confronting with a problem. sonce i instaled the dlc my AI workers wont move at all as soon as i hire them they just stand still and dont do enything. Does anyone have this problem? Thanks
I am not sure why you are having that problem but that does sound like a glitch of some kind, could be caused by a mod conflict as well

0.75x playback speed is better, its not perfect sound but easier to absorb the information
Say if I add an animal area/shed area in a field, will that affect my score since there is no crop in it?
It shouldnt since the field would get destroyed in that area

Hi FC. I just downloaded precision EU. But it does not show up in the game. Do you have any idea why, or should I use another one? Would really appreciate some help
Make sure you download precision farming from the in game modhub
@@FarmerCop I think I did that, but I will make one more try. Bought the game through steam. I downloaded the mod and put it on to the mods folder. After watching some videos I also found out that I needed to do just that so I did it, but still not there. Gonna try again now. Don't know if it is because I play on the Silverrun map?
Im curious how this dlc works on maps like no mans or calm land. I prefer those kinds of maps, the build your own from scratch, but i know they have their quirks.
If anyone knows how those maps work with this "dlc" it would be much appreciated. Thanks!
They use a generic soil map. Calmsden's next update will have a custom soil map, so it's definitely an option for future.
@@aks47u so in calm lands and no mans you have to cut out your own fields. Just to understand what you said, there is a generic overlay for things like that? Its not weird and just all one soil type or anything like that? Because both of those maps have no predetermined fields... Well 1 or 2 but thats all. No contract work on either map all free form.

@@Killergold88 I just ploughed up the entire NE corner of Calm Lands and it all looks fine. Proper mix of soil types.
@@Killergold88 yes the generic soil map gives you a mixture of all the different soil types just like a standard map would. A map with a custom soil map would just have a different “design” of where the different soil types would be and how they change throughout the map.
How the hell you attach the soil sampler to the gator?!
how did you zoom in on mini map?
It does it automatically when you take specific equipment onto a field

Likely has nothing to do with precision farming and everything to do with the 1.4 update that broke many script mods. There is a hotfix coming out tomorrow (Thursday) that will rectify this issue

Downloaded this AND the update on pc, now my games WONT even load past 85%, WTH?
It is one of your mods. Either revert to a beta, or play vanilla(not even mod hub mods). They should be fixing it soon.
Script mods broke with 1.4. Giants working on a patch.

@@scottpage81 mine wouldn't load past 85% then i went to documents,my games,farming simulator 22, then right clicked on Log and selected open in notepad and i scrolled down to the bottom and look at what the mod is called next to where it says error. for me it was high beam light mod a autoload truck pack ,netwrap addon and vans mod that go with it and the bailer that uses the net wrap. and the game started working again. weird i can start a new game with all mod selected but i couldn't load a game that had only half them turned on before the update.

@@jodybeard4708 Yes, we discussed this yesterday. I am of the same opinion. The more I learn about this the more I think it is just silly fluff. I am even smelling some climate change virtue signaling and would even go as far as saying the environmental score is complete BS. That is MY opinion and I am entitled to it. But the fact is many people are into this mod and want to learn about it...I want to learn about it...and there are going to be a LOT of videos coming out on this. No need to constantly throw rotten tomatoes in the comments. If it isn't for you then don't watch. Simple. I am curious about it, even if I will probably never use it, I at least want to know how it works.
@@jodybeard4708 I think what bothers me the most is the whole plowing/weed equation. What has not been mentioned by any of these channels is that IRL plowing causes erosion. That is why farmers don't like to plow. But if the game is going to erase weeds by plowing then I am plowing. 1 pass with a plow beats 1 pass with a cultivator then having to spray dangerous chemical herbicide over the field, even spot spraying. I get this is a simulator and they are trying to bring things up to the latest farming methods, and I am all for an authentic experience, but like many other things in this game, such as rocks, this reeks of placebo BS to me. It is fluff, plain and simple. What they call in school "busy work". BS stuff to keep you occupied. I am too busy playing to be bothered with this. If anyone feels different they are welcome to respond, let's open the conversation, I am often wrong and it is just an opinion, I am open to argument. But I am not just going to constantly boo the video.
