Historically Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur and Assam all have been independent countries and was forced annexed by Indi. They have the fundamental rights to independence from India also.

China will never give up Tibet for the simple reason that they are able to control the supply of water which South Asia is dependent on. China also needs Tibet to continue its expansionism with Nepal, Bhutan, and India's borders which it cannot do if Tibet becomes independent or gains autonomy. The CCP wants everything.
