    Another very helpful video. A problem that I have had in the past is that I forget to release the parking brake when I am working down in the woods. I am in low range and in 4wd so the tractor has plenty of torque to move, even with the parking brake engaged. I have picked up a couple of warning lights to install in my dash. I believe that they will look like they came from the factory that way.
    It's About Making It, Not Buying It, Dave Knows How, and Paul Short all seem to have had the same problem and they each do a video on what they did to solve the problem. Dave Dobbs did his up with a back up alarm to alert him that the brake was still engaged.
    Thanks for sharing this. Very informative.

      It should be similar but the spec for the amount of slop allowed in the clutch may be different. It certainly sounds like it needs adjusting! Thanks for watching!

    Hello, sir, good afternoon, excuse me, can you make a video on how to remove and replace the clutch lining and the new rear wheel brake lining on the Kubota tractor, the L series, especially the L 3250, thank you very much, sir, sorry for using Google Translate

    HI, I Have a 2013, L4600 HST. Speed control pedal sticks. I see no grease fitting. What is the fix for pedal to come back to neutral position?

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Paul! I’d check the linkages from the pedal to the transmission to make sure there’s no brush or sticks impeding the movement. Look for grease zerks along the linkages. YOu can also disconnect the linkage where it disappears into the transmission. If the pedal moves freely, then you’ve got a problem inside the transmission. Good luck and Thanks for watching!

      The throttle on the L2500 is different than the ones on the L3301 and L3901, so I don’t know. But I would follow the mechanism toward the engine and squirt WD40 here and there to see if anything loosens up. Thanks for watching!

    If the clutch pedal is out of adjustment, then could it cause some speeds not to engage? I ask since my Kubota MX5000dt will roll (move) in first and second gear, but does not move when either in third or fourth gears. I do know that the last time my tractor was in the shop being serviced that they mentioned they adjusted the clutch pedal. Interestingly, when I look at the adjustment rod, the lock nut is is all the way at the top of the threaded part of the rod instead of being locked against the metal at the bottom.

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Steven! Yes, I think so. If the clutch is only lightly engaged, it may only be able to move the tractor in the lower gears. My guess is the clutch is incorrectly adjusted. Thanks for watching!

    • @DIYMyWay
      @DIYMyWay  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Edward! I imagine it’s a similar process but not exactly the same because the B4200 is not part of the L series tractors. Thanks for watching!
