Beautiful! So nice to see you both...thank you.
Nice to see you two back! This is really near where I grew up. Think I have driven past when visiting so interesting to see inside these new builds. They are nice enough but a bit bland. It seems a shame that nobody is really doing outstanding architecture in this day and age.
I really like the vibes in the videos of Matt and Summer, and Tom and Jazmin. I would like to watch some videos with Tom and Matt, and Jaz and Summer too.
What kind of videos?
By the far the most beautiful house I think you have ever shown... I'd buy it !! and I dont say that lightly
Gorgeous house !
well done, nicely presented, very good pace for the tour, nicely upbeat and light !!! decent-sized efficiently designed house for the money, ..
I like this house for sure. I just discovered this channel a day ago. I am in love witit. Great camera and video quality
Welcome aboard! 🏠
Yes low ceilings are the deal breaker in any “luxury” house
The higher the ceilings the more difficult to keep clean and change globes. It’s all very having grand spaces- but people forget about maintenance.
I agree. A reasonable compromise would be to have lower ceilings in most of the rooms but have one or a few where they are double height.
@@xr6lad this house did have slightly higher ceilings - you can tell by the number of steps on the staircase - typically 13 steps gives a 7'10" (2.4m) height whereas this had 14 steps so a whole extra 8inches ;-)
Low ceilings warmer in cold weather.
Right on time London❤
Thanks for another great video. Wishing you both Matt and Summer an awesome forever. 😊😊😊😊😊
Low ceilings are a disappointment in an. otherwise nice house.
Yes!
Why are houses in UK have low ceilings? Are people in UK short? 😂 Even the doors are like less than 2m.
Couldn’t agree more, it is not a cottage, double glazing, insulation, underfloor heating and radiators eliminate the need to conserve heat, so why? It reduces it to boxy and characterless, no deep skirting or cornicing could be put up without making it appear even lower.
@@albertlohia3229 I NOTICED HOMES IN THE UK HAVE DOORS FOR EVERY ROOM. HERE IN THE USA, WE HAVE DOORS FOR THE BEDROOMS AND THE BATHROOMS. NOT DOORS FOR THE LIVING ROOM, THE DINING ROOM, FAMILY ROOM. WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THE OVENS? HERE IN THE USA, MOST KITCHENS HAVE 1 OVEN. SOMETIMES IF THE KITCHEN IS REALLY BIG YOU MAY SEE 2 OVENS. I DIDN'T NOTICE THE LOW CEILINGS. BEAUTIFUL HOME THOUGH!
@@albertlohia3229because its costs less to heat a house with low ceilings and also it costs less to build (= more profit for the developers). Compared to these new builds, the old victorian terraced houses in UK are charming because they ve period features, solidly built walls (even interior walls are brick) and higher ceilings.
Nice layout
Hi there, a silly question , especially with a new build of this size. Why do English houses have separate garages, considering the weather, while here in the sunny Southern Hemisphere former colonies (and USA) we attach them to the house ?Is it due to bylaws or regs of some sort? Love your channel by the way!
We have both so it's not regs. My guess is it has to do with aesthetics. I think a lot of people like the traditional look.
I actually don't like how garages dominate the front of a house in the USA. They take up way too much frontage. I think it's because of the relative importance americans give to their cars whereas in europe we don't like to give prominence to garages and vehicles.
Interior designing some options can be used as a feature whilst creating a balance some decor and furniture can blend in makes the areas of houese more attractive for various uses.
Nice home - are you able to provide the dimensions (WxHxD) to the fire place along with the burner size - i am looking for something similar for my home. Any leads would also be appreciated.
Nice🎉
Thanks for the tour! Nice house! P.S. The chandelier in the principal bedroom is a joke!
British bathrooms are always so cramped and crammed into a room compared to the large spaces in German and american homes that aren't afraid to go big on them. Bedroom 2 for eg could have used the entire wall length for the en suite instead of a corner of the room. And the eating area beside the kitchen impedes the flow in and out with the placement of the table. Not to mention it's got no light of its own, borrowing from the kitchen and the seating area.
Why would you want a massive en suite though? I'd rather have a bigger room... there'd be no need for bedroom 2's bathroom to be the entire length of the wall.
I LIKE THE RADIATORS ON THE WALL. I ASSUME THEY ARE CAST IRON WHICH IS A GOOD THING BECAUSE WHEN THEY GET HOT, THEY STAY HOT FOR AWHILE.
Nice big house, but the rooms did feel a bit dark during the daytime
Your Videos Are Fun 😌
Glad you think so!
That's better. 👍
Were is the fridge
Finally uk is catching up with storage spaces
How much is this going for?
🥰
Umm nice enough house and Felsted is a nice area but what about Stanstead airport?? Not sure but I guess if you are a pilot then it would be an excellent choice
Thats a tiny sink for a kitchen that large!
Why are the ceilings so low? I'd feel claustrophobic.!
Please,How much this home?
Could you do houses in Birmingham
Can u do a 3 storey town house somewhere
Matt , did u ever buy a Motorbike
Ground level too low at rear patio. You'd expect better for £1,265,000 - gravel channel bodge to 'fix'
Ok
Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice, but not over a million nice 😏
@LEIGHSTEPHENS3254, I THOUGHT THE PRICES FOR HOMES WERE OUTRAGEOUS HERE IN SOME PLACES OF THE UNITED STATES. I GUESS THE PRICES FOR HOMES ARE ALSO OUTRAGEOUS IN THE UK AS WELL.
huge kitchen..with a ridiculously small sink. why oh why do they do this over and over again in the UK!
So many videos i've seen and the wardrobe space is so small its so annoying we all have 3-4 seasons of clothes over here and nowhere to put anything. ive only got 2 up 2 down and the 2nd bedroom is basically my walk in closet. And if its a 2 car garage have a 2 car garage door that fits a either 2 small cars or a big car.
Love everything except for that ugly staircase. For around €1.3 mil, they better change it. Looks cheap and an afterthought.
Please use metric and not anachronistic imperial units.
Why are people saying low ceilings!? They are perfect fine ceilings 😂 high ceilings just mean more expensive for space you literally cannot utilise..
I hate when people leave the space under the stairs open. Or as my children know it, "the dungeon"
Wasted storage space, but if not converting it into storage, it makes a good reading/chill out nook for kids…
I really don't get the appeal of these sorts of new builds. None of the character of many older properties but still the low ceilings and small windows. No landscaping, ugly PVC windows and doors, and no detailing on the exterior. Literally the sort of house a child would draw, a box with a triangle on top. To boot despite knowing the future regulations no doubt the developer will have left the buyer with a heating system they're going to have to replace sooner rather than later, and at huge cost.
“food cooking” - as opposed to… Needs to try a bit harder on her use of words…
I heard it as "and maybe some food [which is] cooking in the kitchen".
Jeez...You guys must have finally run out of luxury houses to shill (by the way, I live in this area...)
Ridiculous!!!! Not really recommend buying that house because not enough built in wardrobes and storage in the bedrooms and asking £1.25m!!!!!
Awful
I THOUGHT THE HOUSE WAS BEAUTIFUL.
Yes a bit pretentious but still somehow characterless.
New builds are terrible hardly any room inside no garden 🪴 and poorly built materials.
