Skorpion should be banned from t6 matchmaking... Those tanks dont stand any chance against skorp
SU 130 is better for me. Better camo, better reverse speed, higher alpha dmg, it is a Russian tank and I got it for free.
I feel 520 base dmg every 10 sec is deadly so im for the su 130 pm
I do like the SU130 better although I find it hard to believe that the average damage is 520. The last time I threw up playing that tank was when I saw Jingles take his cloths off :).
I do own both and highly enjoy them. I didn't get the SU for free, but I did get a discount. While both r quite good I do slightly like Skorp a little more
Skorpiom g has the gun handling and accuracy as well as mobility in practicality. Overall it seems like the reliable option. But su130pm has more alpha, a far harder to hit hitbox and significantly better concealment rating. And just like Dez says in most of the german tank related videos, dispersion is just a number. Personally i find my kv2 more accurate than my skorpion g👌
I agree. The rng in the scorpion dispersion is not "standard" for a german sniping td gun. Also i find the rng for the pen on scorpion is not in the scorpions favor. So many shots that should be a pen, but bounce. But i still play it alot, not saying i'm a good player, just that i like playing it.
I think screaming "RUSSIA!" with every KV2 round helps. I am not sure but the Skorpion accuracy is overrated. Never hits as much as my KV2
Kv2 has ridiculously high sigma and I am convinced they lowered the sigma on the scorpion g in a recent patch
Honestly, probably the main selling point of the su is the camo. You can get away with so much shit that you can't in skorp. I personally run my su with rammer,camo,and binocs. I love that I'm able to spot for myself when needed while maintaining my camo to keep hidden. It's very lethal.
SU has an absolute dogshit gun handling, unfortunately.
I would be more than willing if only World of Tanks devs being transparent.
My Skorpion G clearly comes from a different factory than yours. My Skorp's accuracy is worse compared to my SU-130PM. I regularly have my shots go to the outer extremes of my aiming circle. In fact, I would say 70% of my shots go there. Also, it does not seem to matter if I double-bush when I shoot the Skorp. When that gun goes off I get spotted with multiple incoming shots following.
Same bro, got it from the prem shop couple of weeks ago, and boy even with a 4 skill crew and bond equipment, it misses most of its fully aimed shots.
As for camo, my scorp has a worst camo rating than my e50.
Its weird because whenever i play against skorpions it seems like they always hit my weakspots lol
I love the SU130 ever so slightly more, even though I think the Scorpion is a bit more popular in general, the extra bit of gun damage and russian bias go a long way :)
And the camo! It's a sneaky little bugger!
Ze German does get fully rotating turrent but Russian bias always works better 😉
which part do u mean? mobility ,accuracy ,rotation ,scorpion is much better.

@@wolfsarea russian bias? Try being bottom tier in su-130pm vs heavy tanks spamming HE and missing every shot at the hull down monsters that your tier 10's are incapable of penning.
Then say russian bias. I could even upload a video and show like 10 misses when stationary and fully aimed in. That and the 5 my idiot vk100.01p decided to block when he drove shockingly into enemy tier 10's and got annihilated before trying to pullback and dying. Yeah, give me scorpion any day. Su130 gun is only fun when it pens. When you miss the 3 shots for every one penetration it gets boring. Or even amx cdc Id take that too

I prefer the SU because of the much better camo. Gun handling is in my experience the same as on the Scorp despite stats tell you otherwise. The fully rotating turret on the Scorp is nice, but rotation is agonizing slow.
I have both, I prefer the SU as I can play more aggressively due to its insane camo and low profile. The SU can also do its own spotting or spot for the team when required. With he Scorpion it always feels like if you get spotted you are instantly dead, thus I play more passively for the first half of most games, but both are great tanks.
own a Skorpion since it came out, Im not the best player with it but I absolutely love it
It is obvious that WG has secretly nerfed the Scorpion G's accuracy, I have played it for years and it used to be way better.....
They did, there are screenshots showing.
What matters as snipers is accuracy. Nerfed accuracy on skorpion g is noticable for everyone who owned this tank when it came out the first time. I dont do the average 2k damage per match on my skorpion g any more and i blame wg on this fraud. Its like selling a high end gaming pc for an expensive price and then downgrade the videocard overnight. Maybe in russia this is an acceptable business practice? Anyway, at this moment skorpion g isnt worth horseshit. Laughable moment when i bounced off elc scouts and miss 4 fully aimed shots on not moving targets and was not even from a max range. Now when i full aim on my is6 and i close my eyes just for the lolz, i still hit the enemy tanks who didnt move. Guess i made my point.

When playing german tds i am Not able to Hit anything, Rhm B Wt with the precise gun, aimed to the maximum on a not moving target... Miss, Miss, Miss... It really is annoying because earning Credits becomes Impossible...
On the other hand, i am able to pen and high roll a tog II in my KV2 with HE for 1053 DMG... Wtf!?!
@@cooper5092 that's how I feel too. Skorpion right now is a scamm. It is more fun to play Kanonenjagdpanzer 105 despite its lower DPM.
@@antonio_fidalgo I am in love with German tanks and TD's and I totally agree with you regarding the Kanonenjagdpanzer 105 it is more fun to play it than the Scorpion G.
The camo on the SU-130PM is a game changer for me, imo its what makes the SU better than the Skorpion

I got su130pm in a xmas box, it is great damage dealer/credit grinder. Lack of fully rotating turret can be a bit of an issue . One of the best things about this tank that you didn't mention is that the crew fits.
Gun great , cammo good and pretty quick in a straight line for relocation
One thing I love about the skorp is that it can become a pocket medium tank when the time calls for it with the mobility and the full turret you can get aggressive later in the game. And while you lack HP and armor If it's late game your gun is very well threatening enough to convince people not to try and trade with you as they could be in 1 shot range at that point fairly easily.
I wouldn't spend any more money on premium tanks at tier 8 half the time in them you get stuck as low tier. With the new tier 9 premiums coming out will be the new meta making the teir 8s obsolete. Making people not want to play tier 8 and people will probably start play more 6and 7
Skorp g and su130 are the two prem tanks that don't care if they are bottom tier cause of the great pen they have
I love both of em.. Scorpion was my first premium tank i blught and my most played tank.. But recently i do think that accuracy of the gun has somehow worsened.. The su still fires rockets and punishes faults of enemies very efficiently..
My best battle is with SU-130 PM on Steps. 6k DMG 10 kills. 1vs4 if I remember correctly. 3 missed shots out of 21. And it wasn't camping game, it looked like I was defending enemy base in the end of the battle.
Hi Dez, I have both TDs and the scorp when it came out first time. The first battles the gun worked according to stats, but after that so many fully aimed shots dropped into the ground on nearly every range with a 5 perk crew (all gun handling perks), and the SU hits impossible shots. So I would say - just stay with the russian programming and use the SU......After marking the scorp - i never touched it again. German Prem tanks feel a little bit like - buying with the tank 50% minus rng. TD gameplay in such fast games is crap anyway. Prefer mobile tanks with some amor and gunhandling.
Glad I’m not the only who knows that when you buy a tank, it’s good for a few games, like wow I’m hitting literally everything, then boom, it losses it’s little buying boost that WG gives you to justify your purchase. Slimy bastards

I got the 130 for free. It's fun to play but it IS work. I have not played the Skorpion G but I know it is more mobile, I think it's turret is 360 as opposed to 130's forward 180 degree only. Skorp has better gun handling and rate of fire. I would give the nod to the Skorpion G. I loved the marder II at tier 3 and it seems to be a sort of T8 version of that.
I love lights so maybe one day you can do a comparison of all tier 10 lts or something

I have both and either are worth it but I like the SU 130PM most, it hits stuff clear across the map better to me and dang it hits hard
I already have the Scorpion G, but I wish the gun would stop trolling me so hard. The SU would be an interessting option for another TD.
SU is better in my opinion due to its camo and its shell velocity.
even if the stats on the skorp give it better accuracy, you hardly hit over half your shots in most cases at long range. This is due to an important factor, your shell velocity. The Skorps shell velocity is 920m/s and the SU has 1030m/s on their standard shells. When your sniping at long ranges your accuracy is calculated by your dispersion value, shell velocity, and time traveled, over distance traveled. Since it takes longer for your shell to reach a target at mid to long ranges with the skorp, the shell arcs more, and causes more deviation in the trajectory. slower shells have more spread than faster shells do.
I have both TD's but have played 3x more games in Skorp G, but had it longer so not really a surprise. I got the SU at 80% discount. SU has the better avg dmg by 300 per battle and that is probably due to the extra dmg per shot. I find both guns to be extremely derpy even when fully aimed in but that has been in the last year (a secret adjustment to soft stats perhaps??). Can't decide which one I enjoy most. I hate the Berlin map too but already have Ensk and Himmelsdorf banned.
Where can I find the radius circle in your mini map?
What i noticed after 1700 battles with skorp g, it has grille syndrom. Gun is trolling quite often. Btw i have 0,24 accuracy with field modifications.

both tanks were great if i have either of it my favorite would be skorpion g. for me is much more flexible when i had chance to use rental version of it and i really love it when first and few battle after it. but if had chance to have

I play them both in rotation, once Skorpion, once SU. Both are great.
Got both like them both just prefer skor a bit more because of its apcr rounds but the camo on the 130 is much better and its a smaller target. When i need to build up some money I always play the skor
Personally I myself don't have either one. If I had one it would have to be the SU though, I like some of the oddball shots it pulls off.

Both tanks have their strengths and weaknesses but I like the Scorp because im trying to get max skills on my german td crews

I like both. Scorpion as a sniper, and su 130 as a close range boom stick. I play them quite differently. I find the 130 a bit more enjoyable because of the aggressive approach it can pull off. My 130 also does 71 kmph so yeah...

Much prefer the 130, the Skorps gun is far too unreliable. I'll take slightly worse mobility but much better camo and a more relaible gun.

Scorp G have sometimes really troll gun shooting too up/down:(
And SU have a lot better camo 45 and Russian balance.
I have the SU-130 PM. I like the looks more, the low prifile and high alpha. I too have improved aiming on mine.
When the Scorpiin G came, I hated it (playing against). I bought the SU as vengeance against all Scorpions. Scorpion is so big that the dispersion doesn't matter and it hits harder.
Dez, you obviously bought that Scorpion G on the beginning of a week because mine does not perform as yours is doing... Do you think I could sell it and buy another one, maybe the quality could be better... ;)

I have both. I prefer the SU130 PM. It's just harder for enemy tanks to see. I get better results with it than I do with the Skorpion G.

su is my preference. I don't recall winning it in rewards. maybe loot box? skorp seems to have lost a little something over the yrs, but still a great td

SU 130pm for me. Got it for free in an Xmas box, very consistent damage, accurate as hell, effective in Tier X battle so you aren't waiting for lower tier stuff to make a difference. Great TD. 👌
they have not not the same gameplay i think. even if i prefer the Skorpion i have better results with the 130pm

Try Scorpion with HE shell, just to proof that that shell is so inaccurate, almost is like its not fired from same gun. Big difference between Ap and He in accuracy.

Game don't deserve any money at this point. Especially after rankeds...
RNG always seem to hate me whenever I play Skorpion G. That accuracy seems a bit off for me, always going to the tracks, to the side, to the bottom of the tank without hitting the hull or doing damage. That's why I rarely play it and just play my Progetto 46

Je trouve qu il a un canon qui troll pas mal quand meme, je le joue actuellement à part en ville en semi agressif derrière les Heavy

Keep up the good work Dezgamez! For me SU is the choice. Better tank and a good crew trainer for the better russian td line. Jageroo is situational, grille too (less camping maps, more city maps). 268v4 is the better tank for the current wot meta.
Skorp G comes with german troll cannon stats though.
I have both tank at 2 gunmark and for me SU-130PM is the best Skorpion G would be good at paper but the gun can mess with you like a Grille15 and i still say Skorpion G is like a Panther II with a huge gun .
Hello Dez, hello community.Sadly the stats on paper vs. In-game experience are two different things.if the rng works both are good.sadly the game will decide how many fully aimed shots you will miss or won't pen.It's not skill based.

Why didn't you compare them with the Titan-103? Which can also be bought for bonds and isn't afraid of being spotted
Like them both but somehow *insert tinfoil hat meme* I seem to perform better in the Skorpion B(lyat) - the 130PM.
One thing I enjoy on the 130 better than Skorpion is the gun elevation - 130 can get into some stupid positions due to that.
Other than that, on paper, Skorpion G is way better.

I own the skorpion G and have a 6+ skill comander and the rest of the crew has 5 + skills along with All the field upgrades. Sure this tanks maks a lot of credits but in all teir 8 games I am lucky to pen on half my shots when the rectile shows green and will pen. And as for average damage the stats are a joke I am lucky to do 400 damage useing standard shells .
It all depends on RNG. In my SU-130PM I've had 7k damage games and many ZERO damage games. It's a streaky gun. All pens or all bounces.

I won 3 loot boxes from a small youtuber in 2018, won a Skorpion! While I've had good games, the gun handling sucks. Never, ever snap shoot, expect fully aimed shots to fly to the edge of the circle, swear and alt-F4. With a 4 skill crew too.... You must get special CC rng!

can't hit s&*t in either tank some games. Tinfoil hat tells me there is nothing Random in RNG you've either got it or not, the game decides. I played and won 7 games in a row last weekend in alpine kitty's with platoon mate, top tier most games, the gun shooting straight 90% of time, big damage games too. Funny how they just added Alpine kitty to bond shop on the friday.

I find the Skorpion gun to be quite inaccurate. It has fake stats. I prefer the 130PM. You know it’s not accurate and it has good camo. So, uh, the SU-130PM for me.
its simple, you want to get credits alongside GETTING BETTER? choose su-130pm, that's all from me, skorpion is too EASY , oh and btw the alpha doesnt matter sometimes u still roll for 390 and the bullet swings everywhere so yea :D. But it does help you to be a better player in most ways. Have a good 1 !
Whatever you have better main crew. No point to use without a tierX tank.
Played 500+ games in booth, Skorpion G is better for experienced players and I like it a lot, while Su isn't real contender for Skorp, you should put tank like Rhm. Borsig. As for title Skorpion has mobilitiy and it is deadly precise, while Su has cammo and trollish gun.
I prefer the Skorpion G over the SU, I dont have the best rng in the skorpion g and the shell velocity is a bit annoying, but the su just fucks my ass over and over again
I prefer skorpion g I have more accurate shots and the aiming time is noticeably better. However I like both similarly with skorpion having more flexibility. If I would have only these premium tanks I would not complain at all and be very happy with how much damage they can rack up without any effort.
