No Heart's armor was the armor Xemnas wore in one of his phases. I think it's Xehanort's Keyblade Armor and Xemnas got his hands on it for a while after the whole Heartless-and-Nobody mess
This track was actually arranged by Sachiko Miyano, who was also responsible for Lord of the Castle in KH3 Re:Mind, and worked with Yoko on Nachtflugel
@@stardiver4350 I stand corrected. I forget how many songs in KH3 were composed/arranged by Shimomura… since she did a huge majority of music in most of the other games.
While this does sound better than Dark Domination, we already had a fused Xehanort theme with Forza Finale. We still coulda had a destati melody with dearly beloved somehow mixed in or an intense Sora theme but ishimoto really missed the mark.
And the original version of this was made before the Mysterious Figure was revealed to be Young Xehanort. Still, that's kind of why I accept this wasn't the final boss theme, but I wish it had this level of orchestration, ESPECIALLY the Xemnas part. Coz then it would just be a rehash of Forza Finale.
And he didn't appear in the opening video of KH3 either. .... Yet, he is the supervisor of Toy Story World, yknow, the world Nomura told Disney " if I don't get to use this world therr is no kh3" .... uhm....And he sort of helped Sora to defeat his own old self.... such paradox, but that's why i love this cutie

I love that if Sora's strength is high enough and you manage to hit all of Data Xehanort's openings without screwing up, his desperation move always kicks in when the climax of the Darkness of the Unknown portion kicks in. I'd have to think it's coincidence, but damn if it doesn't make me happy every time I replay this fight.
@@gaming1zanagi-1999. a lot of the KH song titles are italian, and sometimes you also have alternate versions that get swapped (OG in Italian, remake in English or vice versa) honestly gives the ost a unique touch, when JRPGs that have "foreign" song titles will typically be latin at best or if it's something like Xenoblade X, by Hiroyuki Sawano, the ost titles are in his typical song title gibberish lol
This piece doesn’t carry nearly as much weight as Dark Domination. It’s a good boss theme, but it’s not dark and brooding enough to fit the final battle.
Yeah but Takeharu Ishimoto's MIDI strings hurt my ears... absolutely hate his style melody writing as well, ugh. I felt like his compositions were a waste of space when playing the game. I genuinely feel discomfort when hearing his themes, as opposed to hearing Shimomura's compositions, putting me at ease.
It's great, but in my opinion it's way less "bombastic" and epic than Dark Domination. It would've been good, but they needed a more epic soundtrack for the final fight, since in terms of storyline Xehanort is the final boss of the Seeker of Darkness Arc.
Why couldn't this be the final boss theme? I love Rage Awakened, I love the replica theme, and the track was great, but it wasn't right for the man himself. I get why both are in there, but it didn't feel right.
For one, we had Forza Finale as the Xehanort melody so this is redundant. 2, this doesn't like a final boss theme. The BBS version fits better but this could've been used for the Armor section. I feel like Dark Domination could've worked with better instrumentation, full orchestra to not make it stand out in terms of sound, and used Sora's theme instead of rage awakened.
