    Thank you for a very detailed sew along really enjoyed it. Can you please tell me what type of fabric you used for your lining it looks thinner than the main fabric? I’m trying to learn what types of fabrics to use when sewing patterns. Thanks for your help can’t wait to see more sew along’s.

    When sewing the lining to the bodice, What do you do when you get to the V? Either side of the seam

    I would have like to seen this dress on a live model . . . I know it is a knit dress, but given that it is being sewn together with a regular straight stitch, I'm surprised that there isn't a zipper?! It looks like a "wiggle dress." So, how do you get this dress on and off without breaking the seams (especially in the midriff)?

  • @s94211
    @s94211 Před 3 lety

    Did you use a stretch stitch as this is a knit fabric?

    Which stitch did you use on your sewing machine. It looked like a straight stitch, but, a straight stitch would pop with a knit fabric?
    Thank you for this sew along, you made it look very easy.

    • @noobiekinda
      @noobiekinda Před 3 lety

      It looked like a straight stitch to me too. You're right though it would totally pop.

    Hi Brittany, I made this dress and it fits beautifully BUT I need more coverage for the bust. I sewed the right size for my body but my bodice front needs more fabric to cover more of my bust. Do you have any suggestions on how to extend the front an 1" or 2" towards the center? Would I make an FBA or draw a line out from the front? Any suggestions are appreciated.
