Hearing Austin’s roar in my theater blew up the speakers. No joke.
That speech shocked me. I wasn't expecting it. Austin is phenomenal.

He's actually a really good actor. He's got a promising future.

Out of all of the outfits he's worn in the film, Austin Butler kept the black leather comeback outfit. Butler stated, "That was a big one for me. It was a monumental time, so I took one of those."
Good
Good choice
I always figured can actors/actresses keep some of the costumes from the movies they filmed
Elvis was the king of style i dont blame him
@astenbryant7922 the studio technically owns all the wardrobe unless it's been rented from one of the prop companies. But I'm sure if an actor really wants something nobody gets bent out of shape.
One of my favourite scenes ever. A brilliant movie. Deserved an Oscar
He didn't fully sing that's why he never got it plus playing a singer wouldn't have won it
@@James.G.Ireland Neither did Rami Malek but he still won an Oscar, Taron Egerton sang but didn't win it. What's your point?

Yeah Oscar’s have been a joke for a long time now
I know this scene isn't what actually happened, but I absolutely love it. Gave me chills. This whole movie was amazing. I love it so much.
What actually happened?
@@cgh7337Elvis fired the Colonel in private, not in front of others.
@@cgh7337 I think Austin might have been inspired to play it like this based on Elvis' real life "strung out speech". Lol look it up on youtube "Elvis Presley - Strung Out Speech (September 2, 1974 CS)". Eerily similar
@@cgh7337 Elvis was really pissed off one night because colonel fired one of Elvis's favorite staff at the hotel. He ended up firing backstage but was so loud that the audience could hear them,
I love it. I actually jumped when Elvis started yelling.
It's a base story of elvis' last stage. The rage was the moment he fired Him, which was indeed loud that people heard him
He must've been hurt when he found out who Colonel really was. All of this would've been avoided if he told Elvis the truth.
This part makes me feel sad. Elvis is like a bird trying to escape from his constraints. So many people wish to be like Elvis. And Elvis just wants to do what he wants like so many people.
It's because elvis was Indeed on drugs. Not by himself learning drugs, he's was in accidents, which made him sing and do whatever he did, and everything that he wished to become famous as a kid
On his stage, Rage elvis fired him on a stage! Which everyone heard all of the conversation loudly
@@ANTHONYLASKIOFFICIAL Yeah, the man had everything but he had nothing.Actually only love from his fans will stay with him forever.
Austin did an amazing job. I know if Elvis could soeak he would have approved. Lisa Marie approved, Presley interprise approved, Percilla approved. I was completely taken by surprised with the performance. This guy poured himself into this role for 3 years and he delivered.
You know... When Lisa Marie died there were a few articles online floating around saying drug overdose. She died from a bowel obstruction which resulted in an infection that she got after a weight loss procedure. If she only knew the symptoms and dangers of bowel obstruction this could have possibly been prevented. I don't know all of the details. My wife had a bowel obstruction and the surgeon did exploratory surgery to find it. They couldn't see it on a CT scan. The most highly suspect symptoms are not being able to make a bowel movement and vomiting repeatedly. Not being able to hold food down is another.
I did hear it has something to do with weight loss. It was a shame she passed young like her father and her son. I just pray her 2 young girls end up being ok. Her eldest daughter has done real good hopefully she will be able to help them.
2:32 He almost sounds like Vince McMahon 😂
Yooooouuuuuuuure Fiiiiiiired
Yourreee Fiiyaadd!! He has to play him too lol
Austin should play Vince in a film.
The Colonel regretted having the doc give him a shot of speed....stage rage lol
En ésta escena yo sentí que se resumió todo el caos y la impotencia que debió haber vivido Elvis Presley en realidad, brillante Austin muy buena actuación en una biopic. 👏🏻
Love Brendan fraser, but that oscar belonged to Austin Butler 💯
Totaly agree
Don’t get me wrong Brendan Fraser ABSOLUTELY had an Oscar winning performance but the Oscars aren’t given to performances alone. It definitely seems there’s a bit of sentimentality and over career weight tied into it. For instance Leo’s Oscar win was great but it definitely wasn’t his best performance. But he was due one because of his career. Brendan had probably the biggest Hollywood comeback of the decade so his Oscar win definitely cemented that. But Austin had the best performance I would say.
This amazing movie that should won Oscar has lots of great scenes and this is one of the best. When I watch how Austin play so good in this scene I've got goosebumps all over my body🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩.
This scene Was greatly exaggerated In the movie for Theatrical Purposes I assume, but Elvis did have a moment on stage, where he said “Hell to the Hilton Hotel” and after that he fired the col.
But he never had a mental breakdown like this onstage.
Of course not or it would've been front page news. It's a movie! But something did happen off stage once elvis knew the Col. was a fake. No one was looking out for Elvis.
Best scene ever
I'm not an Elvis fan, my grandfather is though. I enjoyed this film way more than I thought I would.
Well, welcome to elvis side
And this didn’t win the Oscar for best actor

Love This Movie ❤
Can we just appreciate how incredible this voice work is. Not only did Butler nail the voice but he nailed the evolution of Elvis' voice over time. That voice genuinely sounds like it's coming from a much older man than Austin. He's insanely talented.
Elvis: “YOU ARE FIIIRRRREEEEDDD!!!!!”
The Audience: 👁️👄👁️
You all have to see this movie, it’s very beautiful!😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Love this movie!!
I got chills...
In real life, by thus time as portrayed in the movie Elvis had a lot connections due to his fame. It’s too bad he didn’t realize he could have used that to get some of the best lawyers in Tennessee to file a lawsuit against Parker. Sure Parker would try to drag Elvis down with him and threaten him with all the money he owed him like it was portrayed in the movie. But I’m going to say, as the case unfolded, eventually Elvis would have won. It might have taken some time and be really dirty in public but Elvis would have been freed of Parker’s control to make so much more money.
I am late to the game but damn this performance was all kinds of brillance
I can't stop cryng!
Scena da Oscar.....bravissimo Austin 💯💯💯💯💯
Austin is fabulous at acting! 🎭
This did happen in real life just not the way the movie showed. In reality it happened just after the concert and the curtains were closed. Elvis Presley was really in a rage and very pissed off at Colonel Parker that night. He screamed at Colonel Parker so loud that people in the auditorium heard it. Elvis screamed at Parker and said "Your fired you dirty Son of a b#?&h.
Well, they don't wanna add on the film, so they did Experience

Such an Awesome scene 👍
O maís impressionante como Austin conseguir imitar a voz do elvis ate qd ele começa a gritar muito bom
Elvis was pissed !
People have to understand the brilliance of this film. Look how Elvis gained some weight here and he is looking paler and perspiring more. I loved this movie but his scene was hard to watch which made it brilliant
Incrível, assisti o documentario da vida de Elvis Presley seu figurino era show eescolhia tudo a coreografia espetáculo, fã
That was Elvis' spirit saying all the things he wanted to say to Colonel Parker
Nice
Austin butler did a fantastic job as Elvis .
he ate that .. ur fired 😭
Yes he did
I’m shocked 😮 my speakers blew up when butler yelled🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Colonel:*sigh* He found out, didn't he? He knows the truth. I should've told him, but I kept it a secret.
Aunque en su momento ésta escena como tal NO existió o no ocurrió fue ficción, pero se entendió que resumió o transmitió el sentimiento de E.P. 😢
Debt is really a sinkhole trap most of us would and will fall into :(
Elvis's manager was so bad. He deserved to be fired long ago.
This the only scene I didn’t like. The credits hadn’t ended and I looked it up to see if it was true, which it wasn’t. It may have been satisfying for Parker to get that, but, I didn’t believe Elvis would do that to his fans.
Apparently elvis said "to hell w the Hilton hotel and then fired Parker backstage but the audience could hear it.
I’ve also heard interviews with his friends that said he hadn’t fired Parker, but were convinced he would have if he had lived. I believe it was Jerry Shilling. There is a lot of conflicting reports from those days, that’s for sure.
Guys, I think he got fired...
YOUR FIRED 2:27 2:29 2:32 2:44
Where did Tom Hanks come up with that creepy accent ?? Parker was from the Netherlands but if u watch any interviews with him, he sounds like an average American.
Austin this actor got a modeling body, long legs….男主角有模特身材
He yelling at the oscar statue for not giving him one
No, it wasn't happening on the base of a story you see! Elvis was on drugs on his last stage, which was what everything happened, losing his money and stuff. By what, Col did
When the clone was about to reveal the secrets of the world..
2:17
Uh oh...... Elvis, calm down! He's not worth the effort.
I assume he was loaded in this clip. Drugged out. Bless his heart.
Please Why Parker continues to manipulate Elvis into signing a contract for a five-year casino residency in Las Vegas Do you think Elvis is the Colonel's prisoner why his father Vernone never defends his son and tells him to Call off the Colonel
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 xoxoxo xoxoxo xoxoxo xoxoxo xoxoxo xoxoxo
Omg these outfits gagahahaha
2:16 2:25
elvis never said that was fake in the film
So why didn't he ever sack his manager..
because this same manager basically stole all his money
Regular Jerry Heller of the 50's
Elvis Presley's mom tried warning him about Parker before she passed away, too bad Elvis didn't listen. I loved this movie, Austin was robbed of an Oscar
Because Colonel convinced Elvis's father if they left him he would go broke and lose Graceland.
No one but E and Parker will ever know that
Parker was never his manager he was 50% business partner
Just to let u know James the colonel took advantage of a very young talented person who the colonel knew he was something special. Elvis put his trust in him and he took complete advantage of him. After he passed a court terminated the agreement and the colonel lost in court over how he took advantage of Elvis.
Hi everyone.
You for gotten, that Elvis in live concert, the camera was only shoot to he's hip and above, not below.
Secondly. There were great artist before Elvis, Buddy holly, Gene Vincent, Richie Valens, and these guy's wrote their own songs. Elvis did NOT, or he was able to read music.
And Elvis did not say and will never say, he was king. He did what he wanted to do, simple and direct. Nothing more nothing less...!
And when anyone produce a film about Elvis, get their facts right. This is the 3 films they made of Elvis. And also Priscilla new film in 2023.
How many do we need.....!
And this was not about Elvis, it's more of the coloner Tom Parker.
If you go back in 1979 With Kurt Russell who play Elvis and also the other film Elvis & me in 1985. And the women who played that role, look almost like her.
When doing anything film base on someone real life, do it well, with those who knew him personally.
Elvis is gone, and we cannot do more than that. And secondly Elvis did not wear Pink when he was the age of 19.
Elvis work at a general store, and the first time he went to a studio was for he's mother birthday present.
Also during in 1954, They begin a band called the Blue moon boys. And their first song was that's all right. And that was a song written by Arthur crudup and performed in1946., then release in 1949. So, it was before Elvis. If they did not do the Blue moon boys, their would have been nothing of Who was Elvis. But in 1957 Parker pick them up.
So, that's the real facts. So, don't read what people say or do, without the truth... RIP Elvis.
@johnnysmith8652 You truly have not researched. Don’t spread lies. Elvis burst into the scene around 1954-55, years before Buddy Holly. buddy Holly copied Elvis’’ vocal hiccup and vocal stammer and Buddy Holly was a massive Elvis fan. I cannot be bothered correcting all the other untrue diatribe you’ve written
I heard about this film I didn’t see it but I don’t know if the sky looks nothing like Elvis to me. I think Kurt Russell did a better job.
Kurt acted like Kurt
Up till Austin performance the only one I thought that did a great job was Kurt throughout the years. But Austin did an amazing job plus Aystin did his own singing, dancing, playing instruments and full on concert performances. Kurt did not do the singing in his movie that was a guy named Rosney Mc Dowel. I had no expectations fir the film but left the theater blown away.
The Oscars sucks these days. It used to be great but not anymore. Elvis didn’t win anything because the Americans don’t like Baz. Simple as that. And Brandon Fraser won an Oscar, never liked him anyway. Austen should have won the Oscar. 😢
The U.S. was too wrapped up in Fraser's comeback narrative, crying in public and being a sexual assault victim. They also have an agenda to not give it to anyone in their first lead role.

Where can I watch the real scene??
It didn't happen in real life.
You can't find one because it wasn't recorded from his last concert! It was when elvis in real life and col was in Private
Все прекрасно в этом фильме....только этот фильм не про Элвиса.Поэтому на 1 минуте я перестаю смотреть этот фильм.
That never happened in real life.
Did this really happen?
Not exactly. Elvis and the Col. Got into it after a show in Vegas because the Hilton let go one of a long time employee. Elvis made a comment about it during the show and the Col. Didn't want Elvis to say anything.
It happened behind stage after his last show there in September 1973. Colonel got mad about something else was said on stage and tore into him and then Elvis retaliated by firing him. But a week or so later he took him back.
Kind of. What happened was that Elvis took a moment out of one of his performances to ask the hotel manager to rehire a chef who was also Elvis’ friend. The manager basically said how he treated his employees was none of Elvis’ business and told the Colonel to put Elvis in his place. The Colonel talked with Elvis about it backstage after the show. Tensions between Elvis and the Colonel had been brewing for a while but this was the spark that set off the proverbial powder keg.
Elvis didn’t have a microphone with him during their argument but apparently last minute stragglers from the concert said Elvis yelled so loud he could be heard from the back of the auditorium even though he was backstage.
Not in the way it was shown in the film
Never happened like this.
It’s a movie not a documentary. It’s supposed to be entertaining not 100% accurate. Be thankful for what WAS accurate and stop fixating on the one scene that wasn’t
