Solos seems cool. But the artifacts prove that their monetization will remain among the greediest in the industry. We even knew this would happen but there is literally nothing we could do.

Dude as long as the game is not p2w you should be grateful that you are playing for free. I don't agree with EA's microtransactions but as long as they are just cosmectic it's fine. Whales are keeping the game profitable, so you should be happy that EA is still earning money and not abandoning the game.
Only respawn and ea would come up with a cosmetic idea that requires you to pay for the right to pay for it.

Her playstyle doesn't really seem to match mine but I will be looking forward to having a teammate play her on my team. It will be so frustrating playing against a team that has her. Because if you knock her teammates she can just use her ultimate to reset and revive them

The artifacts are kind of cool but I will never see myself buying them. I’ll just wait 5 seasons if I have to if the game will even last that long. Maybe by then we will have cooler looking artifacts.

I feel like the ult might be a hinderance since you have to physically look at where you placed it might but rough during a gunfight should have just made it so you have to use the ult button again to use it.
I have 150shards sitting there for ages now, I don't like this particularly but it's cool that you can customize it. If they only let us chose what to bit instead of forcing us to buy it all before even trying to mix it.
It should have been a case of you get the base katar for free and spend legend tokens to unlock entire themes, it's a basic as fuck free-for-all Heirloom, the actual Heirlooms are worth Heirloom shards
they will include unique finishers/emote/skydive trail etc for later artifact models aren't they ... just like they did with the prestige skins

Alter will increase the awareness of every player. You’ll never know where the enemy team will come. As long as there are walls, there will be the possibility. Can’t wait how the gameplay will be on ALGS.
Spend 150 Heirloom Shards on a Katar BASE, and then have to buy MORE currency for styles for the weapon that don't look as good as traditional heirlooms, don't have NEARLY as many animations, have no unique interactions or voice lines with characters, etc. A true Apex Moment
