Ophthalmology: Confrontational Visual Fields Techniques

    The Vancouver Fraser Medical Program and the Vancouver Academic Campus of the University of British Columbia are situated on the traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.

    Is Confrontational field testing done with glasses on? I thought the glasses can induce some false defects

      Id assume if the px requires them to see they'd need them?

      I agree. Step 2ck makes a distinctuin between confrontation visualk field testing and visual acuity (px glasses must be worn)

    This is incorrect. Its done with no glasses on. And its 'Confrontation' Fields... We don't want to be confrontational. lol.

      If it's the optic nerve defect, having your glasses on won't make a difference since it's the nerve that's damaged
