Beard oil is first and foremost for the skin, it helps replace the sebum oil that the beard hairs pull away from the skin.

Good job on the hair, really skilled barber! To anyone watching at home that needs to self trim, don't cut at an upwards angle when you are taking length off the bottom, or you get a thin looking beard underneath (like this guy did). Also, oil is for the skin to relieve itch (gotta massage it in deep), butter and balm are for the hair.
He also left it too rectangular and unbalanced at the bottom i think he needed to make it and inch or two shorter too, it looked off
@@ronkumar1093 agreed, unless you have a super thick caveman beard, that kind of trim will always end up looking thin.

Great haircut! I think the areas in the beard where the jaw meets the neck are uneven though.
Yea, that beard trim is not the best.
He don’t got much neck and jaw growth. So his beard looks see through and wispy for that long length. He should start over and get a lower neck line.

I thought most of Beardbrand’s icons mentioned that beard oil was primarily for the skin and the balms for beard styling and secondary benefit the skin? !🤔
It's all BS to sell product at the end of the day. I don't use any product on my beard and its just as fine as when I did.
Na it works. Beard balm makes your beard much softer and helps the skin. It's not rocket science. Wax and butter make hair softer.
Great cut. Oil first always. Beard brand balm is more like a butter with some hold. Great products though.

I believe he misinformed everyone…the oil is for the skin….it does not moisturize the beard. Beard balm and butter condition the beard.
