    i have this same model rod, put the new sahara on it. lovely combo. Also have the older 5'6" with a 500 sahara, it seems faster and more sensitive but both are great. now if i could find the fish lol.

    Sometimes when bite is slow & trying to fan out and find scattered fish we like an underspin or an inline spinner.. really like it in the sping as well.

    • @ifishcatfish
      @ifishcatfish  Před 9 měsíci

      I have to be honest with you, i don't think underspinners are a good idea. The fish can see the blade and turn away. U will catch more fish without the spinner. This is just my opinion, i don't want to argue.

      no, not almost parabolic, not like the green one in the video... : ) I will show the exact curve in the review but its a Moderate action.. the first half is still softer, but the entire half bends, not just the tip like a Fast Action

      @@PredxRaptor The knob will take more time but its easier. The line roller is actually FASTER, but you have to be more careful. I can swap the line roller bearings in 60 seconds - its that fast. BUT, you have to make sure u keep the washers back in the same order! Also u will need that T9 screwdriver. I don't sell thtat screwdriver but i put a link so people can at least see it and find it at the local shop.

    Nice vid man hey have you fished any BFS

    • @ifishcatfish
      @ifishcatfish  Před 9 měsíci

      yes, i have. It's nice, if u cast heavier lures... I don't like negative emotions when im fishing though, and even if everything casts perfect, every hour i will have to fix at least one birds nest.. and i just don't want to do that. I think people who enjoy BFS enjoy the tackle more than the fishing.. i see them constantly talking about brakes and stuff... which i get because i have my own passions and i know how it feels, but this is not a passion for me..

      @@ifishcatfish what rod can you recommend for twitch/finnese ultra light for under 100?

    • @ifishcatfish
      @ifishcatfish  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Finesse is different from twitch. There are many rods that are finesse but not twitch. Daiwa presso is the most finesse rod under 100. But the tip is not that sharp and not the best for twitch. I used to recommend the old shimano for twitch, but now i don't know. If u can fish with a short rod, there is a Fenwick HMX 5'6 UL that is amazing, high end guides and feels sharp, but people don't like such short rods. I don't have good recommendation currently for a twitch rod.
