It must have been 80 degrees and yet Markle wears Sea Biscuit's horse blanket. Merching? Not having anyone to slather bronzer all over her that day? She followed that up a day later with winter wear and some stupid stress patch. She was so awkward and intense here. The rumor was that Kevin Costner actually hid from them all day so that he wouldn't be photographed with the Harkles. Edit: There should be a huge question - where are the children?
I am assuming, apologies to Princess Harry if I'm wrong, that she was paid by the designer to wear the horse blanket and the winter outfit the next day in the 80° heat. It certainly explains a lot, eg unsuitability for the weather AND her body shape. Lose/lose.

You might know this already, but *Cringe Moment, The Sequel* happened at the Power of Women event recently. Megs wouldn't leave the pictorial/carpet walk area even though _her own assistant_ was signaling her to move along because her time was up. I believe she was also the only person there with two bodyguards and an assistant following her around everywhere, unlike the more popular movie stars present.
Also, when an interviewer asked her what family holiday tradition was her favorite, she replied with something along the lines of: "Well, the little ones are still little..." What are you trying to say, woman? How hard is it to answer such a simple question? Her word salad non-answers are getting worse by the day.
If you don’t ever spend time with your kids & don’t even know who they are, then you can’t answer a question like that; however, she’s such a seasoned liar I would’ve thought she could make something up like she always does. My nephew just graduated high school 😢but I can still tell you what he liked to do & play in different phases of him growing up, & my niece is getting towards late elementary school, but again, I can tell you what she’d want to play now & what she liked to play in her younger years. When kids are little, you’ve got to spend time with them every day or almost every day in order to be current in what they’re into, what’s their latest cute little saying or action, etc. because they grow & change so quickly. I don’t think either one of those sorry parents could tell anyone anything about who their kids are or what they enjoy that didn’t come from a nanny’s report. It disgusts me that people like that are blessed to have children while thousands of men & women, like me, are you able to have children. Those kids deserve better than Meghan, Harry, & Doria.
The other problem with answering that question is she doesn't see them and to keep saying 'they are so little' is the most ridiculous answer of all... children grow on a weekly basis, so how can they be still little...? 🇬🇧😡🇬🇧

Maybe the last time she saw them was when they were little. Most parents would have said something like they are growing so quickly, it seems as if they were still babies yesterday.
Her bizarre comment about her little ones--at that age a parent can tell you a thousand things about the kids without thinking--made me finally consider the rumors that the kids aren't real. I hope they not real because a severely mentally ill narcissist like Markle, who doesn't remember a thing about those kids, is capable of anything if she's backed into a corner. If there are kids, they are going to be ab-used, guaranteed.

One would think that neither of them has ever been out in public with adults. They are always out of touch.
Costner would accept the award from Harry, but not Megan. Lady in purple was bringing mic to Harry. She was told not to give MM the mic, so she kept walking. The stage people tried to give Harry the mic again, but he deferred to MM, and they would not give it to her. That’s one of the reasons the award transfer was awkward.
I did see a video that showed the audio and the woman actually said to Rachel 'no, it's not for you' 😂😂😂
Indeed Harry has no etiquette and is awkward. When are sponsors going to put their feet down and refuse to have the Harkles at these events. They distract from the purpose of the event or from the person receiving the kudos. Withholding the microphone is brilliant!
I think their agency is desperately twisting arms to get them
and we had the sequel at the recent Vet's event, it really shows she is Princess Pushy, standing in front of him, in the way of the presentation, taking over and making it about herself, hugging 'stunt crowd' like the daughter of her bodyguard randomly present, and taking attention from the Host WHILE HE WAS SPEAKING, she seems to be getting more manic and desperate as time goes by
Maybe that huge, gray coat has roomy inside pockets where silverware and other assorted valuables might fit and be removed from the premises unnoticed.
This was just days after wearing short shorts in Germany at heart of invictus
We know Meghan would have talked about herself, what she thought about being there, what she thought about living in that community, and any other way to fit herself in.
Yeah, the speech would have been predictable 🙄 she would have squeezed in her "when I was 11 years old..." bit, and the old "...there was room at the table ..." bit, too.😒

I had heard on another channel that the woman who wouldn't give her the mic was the wife of the other person besides Kevin who raised A LOT of money for the first responders and it was kevin and this couple who did all this fund raising, and the harkles used their charity to by a table so they could legit be there.....don't know why the harkles actually thought for the price of a table, not out of their personal pocket by the way, they would be chosen to give a speech. makes no sense and bet there is a lot more info that we will never know.

When I was in the military, they literally had the new members practice receiving awards (take, shake, salute) because it is SO awkward if you don't shake hands. You know Harry had to have had this experience too, he was also in the military.
Beeb's you missed the other mega cringe moment where the guy who had a mic 🎤 offered it to Hank and he gestures toward methane as though to say "I don't want that give it to my wife" and she takes half a step towards the mic man who looks at her an laughs and does not give her the mic 😂😂😂

don't you find it strange that she wore a horse blanket in heat but wore shorts last week when she tried to overshadow the King's birthday, she wore shorts and a long sleeved shirt in november, but a horse blanket then and all those jackets in july....absolutely no sense,...it seems that harry and meghan both thought they were going to do more than they did, with meghan not getting the microphone it really confused harry about what to do.....
Mary West - totally right. She also wore torn jeans and bare feet the first time she met Kate Middleton. We know she LOVES expensive designer clothes so it was probably a deliberate insult to the then-Duchess of Cambridge. Also btw she criticised Kate Middleton for not wanting to hug because she's British, when in fact Kate M is a huge hugger.
What made me really laugh was how awkward she looked and behaved when that lady wouldn't give her the mic... it was so very funny... 😂😂😂😂
I have a similar garment. It's basically a blanket with a slit on one side and a belt. It lives on my desk chair. I wear it when the office is freezing.

Yes! The Variety beige dress was definitely a boat neck that was yanked down off one shoulder. You can tell from the crooked seam down the front of the dress and the awkward bunched fabric under the arm. What IS IT with this woman and her bare shoulders?
What makes Harry’s plaque presentation even weirder is that Harry has been giving and receiving awards most of his life.
1. Give award.
2. Shake hands.
Should be automatic to him. In his muscle memory! Was he terrified because Megsy didn’t get the microphone? Was he ‘artificially impaired’ due to pre-event activities?
At least the award got them on stage with a big celebrity and an audience to admire them! They couldn’t have been refused! One of Megsy’s tricks.

The Ginge and Cringe nickname was a very early first in the UK (before they were married) and when I first saw it, i realized my instincts about her were correct.
The media (and Harry) were trying to tell us this woman was sassy, clever and socially sophisticated.

This was set up by WME - Meghan's agency. This is their job - to get Meghan filmed and give her exposure among the movers and shakers that will want to work with her. None of this was a "master plan" from Meghan and Harry.
The actual award presentation was an excuse to put them on the stage with the big star. Period. Perhaps Kevin Costner didn't WANT to shake Harry's hand and, therefore, he deliberately took the award with both hands to make it impossible. I'm pretty sure that Kevin wasn't going to make things easy AT ALL for these two who were, basically forced on him through their mutual agency, WME.
Is the strategy working? An agency giving exposure seems like an approach that might work for a total unknown who is years younger than M and trying to break into the industry.
I understood there was to be no photographers but the Harkles brought their own! And they were calling her Olive Oyl!
That was another thing that (sorry) pissed Kevin right off... the rule for the event was only approved photographers were allowed and the stupid mutt brought her own...

I have a cousin who loves clothes, nice woman. But if she can wear a cape, shawl, horse blanket, or similar she does. She even gave me a spring one as an alternative to a coat one time, I haven't worn it. 😮 but my cousin adores the look in dress tops, jackets, blouse tops, its too bad. The award wasn't for Mr. Costner, the event was at his home for a charity he sponsored to give out awards to first responders. For some reason they had Harry fetching the awards from the table and carrying them over to Mr. Costner for him to give to the winners. That would excuse the lack of handshake? It's also why Meghan was not allowed a microphone, as the staff worked for the charity at an event arranged by Mr. Costner. I'm not even sure Meghan was meant to be on stage, let alone stage-momming her grown husband or stealing any of the microphones she tried for THREE TIMES. They have the same press people (WME?), so he probably invited them and gave at least Harry a role as a favor to somebody.
I really think Meghan is picking Harry's outfits to match hers. She likes those neutral colors and she's the one that's always dressed formally for casual events and vice versa, in light clothes when it's cold and heavy when it's warm, etc. Like picking a handbag for her outfit . . .

Forget Bodyguard 2. Kevin Costner is 68, and his movie career peaked in the 90s. Meghan is 42 and has never appeared in a movie (unless you count her two second appearance as an extra - a delivery driver - in Horrible Bosses). What studio would be putting up money for a movie involving these two?
Career-wise, Meg is worse off than before she met Haz, because she’s now been exposed to the world as a talentless grifter with a mean heart.
She could have gained respect and affection as a charity worker, but to do that you have to actually work for a charity - you know, putting the charity first, as opposed to using it as an opportunity to stick your Cheshire Cat grin in front of a camera at every opportunity.
Kevin is a producer even when he's not acting, and he's also connected to so many people, it would behoove someone who wants a film career to know him, it's all networking

Maybe, in the moment, H felt Kevin wasn't open to handshaking. Maybe Kevin was exuding rightful resentment of their intrusion and H didn’t push it.
No, Harry was to give Kevin each award to give to the First responders, Meg threw off the pace by shoving it at Harry and pushing him over before Kevin was ready to begin presenting them. So Haz was to be the Royal assistant to Kevin to the winning First Responders award.
I'm not a fan of Harry, but sometimes I think he gets dragged along by The Meg , and ends up in these awkward cringy moments. You can see the utter confusion on his face on why he's there. She wants to be centre stage and needs his name to get in the door as most don't know who she is.
I wonder if he has figured out yet that he's being used. For the narcissist, other people are just objects to be manipulated. They aren't people with needs and feelings of their own.

According2Taz, who follows news stories on the royals on CZcams, did a whole video about it, with background info. She's usually right, so I'm gonna go with her on this one.
I’m just appalled at her behaviour! How the hell did she get to “ahem” 42 without someone telling her she’s a talentless idiot, who lies and manipulates everyone she comes into contact with, the way Harry lets her treat him is disgusting, never mind Royal protocol, they’re not Royal anymore, but she treats him as though he’s gone completely ga ga and she’s his carer!! Wtf? No man should ever be treated like this, imagine if he treated her like that, there would be uproar!!
I've heard Steph the Nerd(?) a while back say, that the RF events were all highly-choreographed, as far as where to stand, enter, when speeches are to be made etc. and it's very much organized, so that no embarrassing mushaps happen, for one reason. Now, it is obvious there is no direction with H&M. They both wander around on the stage, turning their backs to crowds, back and forth, and it looks awkward. Can see her refusing to take instruction from any assistants/professionals and wanting to do it her way. And it shows!
If that were me and I saw all these pics of embarrassing moments, I don't think I'd leave my house for a year!
WME (also Costner's agency) donated for MM to attend. Allegedly, Costner had instructed do not give MM the mike. BTW it's rumored that MM&H were the ones that asked the price of the property.
Living in California there is very few things going well, but we’re sincerely grateful for the first responders, especially in the recent years of forest fires being horrible. It’s one of the few things I actually appreciate from a Hollywood celebrity to help them out, so thanks Kevin!

Beebs your hair and makeup are nice today! Prior to H shoving the 'award' gauchely at Costner, you missed M first picking up the award off the table and self importantly handing it to H. No wonder H was awkward and didn't think to shake Costner's hand. This is a job he performed thousands of times before Markle ever arrived to push, shove and grimace him into irrelevance. A totally unnecessary, controlling and cringe worthy move by M, one we have seen countless times that she never gets over. Also, I thought the mike moment came after the 'award' when M and H were way across the other side of the stage - again, M cannot help herself as the host tries to walk past her to the actual arranged speaker in the background.

I think you have something there. He certainly, before he married, was accustomed to attending important functions, he did it perfectly, with respect and always had a few words to say to the recipient. His behaviour and his manners have deteriorated dreadfully since he has been away from the RF, and only in her warped control.
I notice in the picture with KC and that woman in the blue dress that he isn’t standing next to Hasbeen but about 2 feet in front of him 🤔

Great analysis - but you forgot the second time she tried to get the mic - or when Harry tried to get her the mic by motioning to the man standing there. It was totally planned that she would speak where she would just go on and on 'We're so happy to be part of this community and want to thank Kevin blah blah blah blah...'
And then the guy laughed and still didn't hand over the microphone. Awesome.
Meghan tried to save her awkward moment by literally grabbing onto the nearest thing, an award, handing it to Harold and shoving him forward, Kevin was equally awkward because This Award Wasn't For Him, it was for another gentlemen, so they had to re-do all of this later! The heart award (which had nothing to do with them) was given to Kevin and other organizers from the firefighters as a thank you for holding this fundraiser for YEARS, and the award went to his then wife who had also been on the board for this charity. Again, Meghan and Harold were told they could be onstage for their donation, but they weren't supposed to speak, step up or DO ANYTHING. It's much like Meghan putting herself front and center at the recent Vet's presentation and she moved to take the scissors to cut the ribbon, then THANKED everyone as if she had anything to do with it.
Bulky and bad.

Funny thing: if they'd have STAYED in the RF, they'd have been going to these kinds of events and handing out awards anyway. I'd have thought that PH had had SOME training in how to give an award to someone. He seems like he's pulled himself into some sort of shell.

I believe it’s an annual community event and H&M bought a table (or WME bought it) for 12K, and WME negotiated with the organizers for H to hand out the award. Meg gate crashed the stage. There a second mic incident. The guy behind the table with the awards had one. You can see Harry gesture for him to give it to Meg, but the guy pulls it tighter into his chest. 😂
She wore the longer blanket to elongate her torso but then wore Capri/ankle length pants so it negates the effect. If we're rating cringe moments, the Polo match still number one 🤣

The reason Harry is wearing all black is because his handler makes him. I noticed in the Invictus Fashion Show Harry was dressed in the same colour tones for each of Meg's outfits. I haven't checked back at the footage, but it happened enough that I think Meggie-pooh made him change when she changed colour schemes.
Mr Costner never even looked at H when he gave him his award.

Beebs, there was a second cringe moment too. After the first mic-grab fail, she walked over to the case where the awards were sitting. There was another man with a microphone behind it. When Harry walked up the man offered the microphone to him. He gestured to MM - meaning that he would prefer her to speak. The man with the microphone looked at MM, back at Harry, then kind of chuckled, shook his head no, and crossed his arms with the microphone. It was, I'm sorry, hilarious!! There is video of it.
She never dresses for the weather.

The Meg already have a lot of cringe moments and all of them are very worse, even the clouds from the sky won't present the shining light to her everytime she's posing herself to limelight. 😑💀☁️

Hilariously my Mom had a garment very similar to the horse blanket. It was even in houndstooth. She loved ponchos for some reason and had a number of them. She probably bought it sometime in the 80's or 90's. You know, now that I think of it, all her clothes were auctioned off when I cleared out the house. I wonder if.... no, not possible. 😂

I think Kevin Costner is with WME and was forced to do this event. He seems fairly low key and didn’t want an award for doing service.

What I didn't like about her outfit mostly had to do with the fact that it looked completely out of season, particularly in a place like Montecito. That heavy, tweedy looking thing looks like something you'd wear in New York City deep in the fall or winter. Meanwhile, in the picture she took with Kevin Costner, she was standing next to some lady wearing a light, summertime looking dress with cutouts. I have no idea why she's never able to dress herself appropriately for the season and/or the occasion. She consistently does it.
It looked like she dragged H up onstage, uninvited and unplanned, and she attempted to take over. When she was thwarted by the confused microphone people, she grabs the award (ordinary people were giving Costner an honor for his work with local first responders) and hands it to Harry and shoves him at Costner. Harry is surprised, Costner is surprised, the microphone people are surprised. It looked to me like this was all the wife's delusional behavior.
Horrible.
Just as a side note, from my understanding royals do not hold out their hand first for a handshake. Unless it's with someone they know. It prevents awkward photos or the opportunity for someone to decline their hand. I expected Harry wasn't expecting Kevin not to offer his hand.

I think Harry acted like this because he was flustered when Meghan handed Harry the award and shoved him toward Kevin Costner. Supposedly, WME, which also represents Costner, asked if Meghan could present the award. The event organizers compromised and agreed to let Harry present the award. She wasn't supposed to be on the stage at all and did not make a good impression on Costner. After he received the award, he said something about a guest asking how much his estate was worth and looked directly at Meghan. She got all giddy and told Harry "that was me!"
