    Such an Awesome Instructor. I have tried to watch literally hundreds of video instructions on wire wrapping with just as many if not more questions. Would really like to find a way to pay back what I received (Like I could really afford to pay what it has been worth). Keep doing what you are and let me know if there is anything I can do.

    I have quite a few small rough gemstones that I just didn't know what to do with. But your idea of a pendant is exactly what they could be in!
    AND if I added another wire, I'm thinking that I could make a 'cage', enclosing two or even three smaller stones too small to individually wrap. 👍💕

  • @trinaraylee6922

    Copper wire? Is it treated in some way to not turn skin green? I'm extremely wary of buying anything wrapped in copper wire for this reason.
    Excellent video, I always wondered how that type of wrap was done. Thank you for easy instructions for a beginner like myself.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Před 4 lety

      You can use sterling silver instead, I don't have a problem with copper turning my skin green but everyone reacts differently

    • @MJkatzTheWriter

    Your 1 out of only 4 ppl(females)

U turned me on to 'Xurons'!😋 Now I also own the 'xuron'(clip.. & tweezer..) that I c u have😍😁😊😙 __*?how long did u keep em in their box? I'm so curious! 😸 _I'm making my own chAnnel soon:::it'll take a while to practice at wrapping stones...But I make some sweet stuff. I also have zebra wire from ur suggestions ✌👍✌,... Thank you! For the type of polished rounded stones I typically use, you want to search for "cabochon". You can find loads on etsy and on ebay.

      Also local apothecary shops or new age shops sell gems and crystals.

    • @MJkatzTheWriter
      @MJkatzTheWriter Před 3 lety

      If you google "gemstones to buy", you'll find quite a few sites that sell Quartz, Amethyst, Jasper, Labradorite, Amber, raw rubies and garnets, etc, etc, etc, at very fair prices so you can make a profit.
      Here in North Carolina, my husband & I like to go to Elijah Mountain in Hendersonville, NC once or twice a year...buy their "Big Honkin' Tub" or their "The Beast" tub...sift through the sandy dirt, using their sifters and flowing water troughs...and then take home enough gemstones, geodes, & collector pieces to keep me busy for a year!
      WELL WORTH IT!
      For 3 years now I haven't needed to buy any stones online. And I still have two 5 gallon buckets full of stones that I haven't gotten to yet! 😆👍
      Check your state for places like Elijah Mountain. You'll have fun, gain knowledge, and be pleasantly surprised at the "goodies" you'll find!! 💕💕💕

    Misleading title. This is not a beginner style wrap. "Intermediate" would be more suitable - as well as not dissuade actual beginners. My daughter was absolutely heartbroken and devastated watching this video. With a lot of patience and support, I was able to persuade her to try again, and found another instructional video that is actually, legitimatly for beginners. She's wrapped over 30 stones now.

    this wrap is the same technique of your cabochon wraps, I like this wrap on the cabochons better...the raw crystal wrap does not look good at all. I cant't believe people spend money on that piece of crap.
