"Die Together" is an emotional ballad written by Amanda herself together with Bjørn Helge Gammelsæter.
Amanda Georgiadis Tenfjord lives in Norway and is of Greek heritage. She was born in Ioannina in Greece and moved to Tenfjord in Norway with her family at the age of 3.🇬🇷💙
It builds so beautifully . The first minute being so stripped back could really have some impactful staging too. And yeah I also think the music video is quite magical, filmed on the Greek island of Symi.
All of us who loved, laughed and cried in the Greek islands, feel this song flowing in our veins.
i love this so much. for me, this goes hand in hand with the netherlands, not only stylistically but as a continuation of a storyline - an ode to everlasting love and loss.

And that itself is something we missed a lot the past few years. With the right staging, something beautiful and elegant with the appropriate camera game and features as the running water in Turin stage, i think it would be a memorable performance for years. Winning or not.
SO many truths in this video -- it checks EVERY box! I was barely halfway through before I started thinking "This could be my winner". I just really really hope they don't mess up the staging...

I agree with you this could win. Greece is coming strong, and Amanda is an artist with a voice and a point of view.
It's a vibe-y song. It's gonna hit you or it's not. It works for me ... mostly. This is playing more or less in the same sandbox as The Netherlands' song, which I do like more, but that's a personal preference.
I've been a huge Italy supporter from the beginning, however, I now think it's going to be 1.Greece 2. UK 3.Italy 4.Sweden 5.Ukraine and that's possibly because I've had Brividi on repeat since it won San Remo. Die together is simply beautiful .

The top 3 songs at ESC2022 are all going to be slower, haunting, classy, goosebump inducing, chill delivering worldwide hits. GREECE!!! YES!!! NETHERLANDS!!! YES!!!! ITALY!!!! YES FOR DAYS!!!! Simple classy staging and vocal ability determine the final order for the win. You heard it here first. The one song that could spoil it for all of them by sliding into first place could be Chanel's SloMo if the regular once a year viewers are as shocked and blown away as the obsessives were after Benidormfest.

Wow the song is amazing and really emotional. Amanda wrote the song a year ago where she talks about a separation! The unbelievable thing besides her voice (which is out of this world) is the lyrics and that the song keeps you in suspense because it is building up slowly! Two of my favourite parts are at 2:06 and at 2:46 !

Here in Hellas/Greece we got a glimpse how the staging will be... They said something about simple but inspired by ancient Hellenic heritage, meaning the dressing code will be white color most possibly and not much of a makeup? who knows... they said "inspired by ancient Hellas"
I've been waiting for your reaction...and I' m so glad you liked our entry this year! The only thing that keeps me back in this track is autotune or vocoder...I'm not so sure ...I think that it wasn't necessary....but I also think Amanda will nail it in her live session. She's got the touch and her vocal is one of a kind with perfect -clear pronunciation. She is definitely talented

I read somewhere that Fokas Evangelinos is going to stage this. I hope he keeps it simple . No wings or green screen or whatever else. In other words I don't want to see her as a diva on stage but as this fragile girl who just realized her relationship is over
Look Greece is coming to win and y'all need to accept this. This and the Netherlands are the only ones who give me winning vibes and deserve so. Die together and De diepte just have something special that no other country has and we both know it will be performed well. My issue with them both is obviously how they gonna stage both of them have been known to have questionable staging. Greece with 2018, 2019 and 2021, the Netherlands with 2015, 2018 and sort of 2019 they almost cost themselves a guaranteed win by making simple staging almost too simple if you get what I mean but if they get the staging right I can see these two leaving everyone in the dust

@@Follyys while I think they are all good entries they all just lack something I think Spain will be penalised by juries because she doesn't sing a portion of her song if we are being honest. I dunno while Italy is great I think it's being outshone by other ballads plus I think it will suffer from the host entry curse I don't think it will be as bad as previous years but I think they will be done for it. Sweden if they send Cornelia I can see them winning anything else no top 10 maybe. And Ukraine... Honestly, it might be just me I don't get it I don't see where people are getting winner vibes from this while it's a good song I can't see it winning unless I hate saying this but maybe the current events happening there might give them a couple of sympathy votes (not saying that's the reason if they win ) because I mean this song couldn't even win it's national final so how out people expecting it to win eurovision but otherwise, I don't see it happening they have to convince me in Turin.

this is my favorite so far but I'm really worried for the staging and styling. We don't need a lot, the stage design is already giving a lot and we could make use of the water for this performance
This year is difficult for me because obviously it’s not as strong as last year but like there isn’t many songs that give off winner vibes and this song doesn’t feel winner to me rn. The one thing i do enjoy is that a lot of songs this year feel like they are meant to be performed live which is nice so by May maybe more songs will feel like potential winners
That's killing me! Last year I had 12 songs on my top 5 (!!!) I'm Greek, I was expecting something unique from Amanda and I saw something really good, well performed, but not a winning song. I get her sincerity, she sings emotionally but I don't think it could reach Top3,. though I see it in the top10.
Well...as a plus : given the financial situation in Greece I don't think that ERT would ever send a great contender in the ESC! 😁 I guess we'd love to see us in the top10 again but let's offer the 1st place to someone more wealthy! 😁

I think that the problem that i'm having with our song this year is that it's very pessimistic. I mean for me when i listen to a song that deals with heartbreak sadness and such, i'm here for it and of course these emotions need to be expressed, but i want to feel that there is a silver lining after all! That beyond the pain and the sadness there is an underlying optimism however subtle but i need it to be there!If not in the lyrics at least in the music or in the vibe, the emotion. This song doesn't have that. It's like i'm in pain because i cannot stand our separation and I would prefer us to die together so i wouldn't have to experience that, and that's it! I mean no girl! It's just a break up. Cry, wail, be sad but ...get over it!Dust of and go on with your life!
Usually I can hear a potential winner or at least top five, with no mistake even if it's not my personal favourite. But this year... I don't understand how is Greece, and Italy is so overhyped.

@@AlesiaMichelle it is, even before it was released. And it is good, I'm not saying it's not, I just don't see a potential winner in it as most of the people do. Maybe staging can improve the overall feel but until then it's just a solid qualifier.
