OH NO!! What we got with a new set of Land Rover 4.0 L timing chain and gears.

Whenever the front cover of an engine is off, check the timing set for excessive play. It is usually a cheap set of parts to replace while you're in there. In this engine, the OE set is too loose, so i ordered a new set, and then another, and then another. I am disappointed with the quality of the new set and i am ordering a new OE set from England, which I'll install when it arrives in 3 weeks. I'll run this as is until it arrives. #classiccar #musclecar #landrover
