Toy Story 3 did NOT have to go this hard. Like, this is a story about growing up, yet somehow they also gave us a prison break. There are so many steaks, so many plot points that come together beautifully- nothing feels contrived

Actually Bo Peep wasnt his toy- she was part of his sister's baby lamp. Bo Peep and the three sheep. When the lamp left when his sister got older, Bo Peep left too with the sheep
She started as his toy tho she was his toy for 2 movies.
She reappears in Toy Story 4.

Toy Story 3 got me feeling emotional. I love Buzz and Jessie's relationship. Andy leaving to college got me sad. Buzz in Spanish mode got me laughing so hard

At the beginning of the film, Woody tells Slinky to gather everyone for a staff meeting. Slinky's response? *Everyone is already gathered.* For anyone who grew up with the first two films and remembered all the toys that attended Woody's staff meeting, seeing such a large population reduced to just under a dozen (combined with Slinky's response) gave the film *an eerily post-apocalyptic feel.*

@@BillyBinges The Voice Actor for Mr. Potato Head also passed just before Toy Story 4. He's still in the movie, but once you react to the 4th film, just know that he pre-recorded his lines, that's why he still got in, before his health started to fail unfortunately. Rest easy to both VAs of Slinky & Potato Head.

I have a few things held on from childhood, most important is a stuffed bear I was given when I was born. That bear has moved everywhere with me.

When I first saw this I cried and seeing the bond between Andy and woody and you can kind of see it as when he gives woody to Bonnie and it's just so sweet but at the same time you kind of feel that they've been through so much together, and you can see that it's really touching seeing him say goodbye and he felt like his purpose was fulfilled with Andy but now he's to start over with new kid. Seeing how loyal woody is and that's why he's my favorite out of everyone. But Jessie and Buzz's relationship is super sweet. I love this one. Woody was special to Andy because Woody Belong to his dad who passed away which is why Andy Loved Woody so Much in the first place.
I was in my feels when Andy started playing with them one last time before he left.,but buzz in spanish mode is hilarious.

8:50 The one toy I have that I absolutely will never give away is my Husky Build-A-Bear from the early 2000s. It was my first Build-A-Bear, and I think I was about 6 or 7 years old. I got him because of, and named him after, my Husky Apollo. Apollo had to be put down sometime not long after 2010, as he had terrible mange, and another sickness I don't remember. He was about 12 years old, I believe, and was in so much pain.
I had the toy since, and will continue to have him as long as the toy will "live". My only regret was not getting a recording of Apollo's barks and howls, and replacing the Build-A-Bear dog sound button with a custom one. I had wanted to do it before he passed, as even as a little kid, I knew his time was coming, but I never did. Maybe, one day, a video of Apollo will be resurfaced or found and I can do so. I could find a Husky sound online, but it just won't be the same.

I still have my baby blanket that my parents gave me the day I was born on my bed covering one of my pillows & then I have my first stuff animal as well they gave me which was Simba. And I also now have my sister's very first stuff animal she received from our parents which is a sad looking bear she named burly. Oh my gosh I love this movie! I'm so glad you are finishing the franchise. In my opnion this is the best toy story movie and top 5 best Disney movies
The animation and story in this is top tier! It's in the movie that I cried watching an animation movie for the first time ( when Andy gives his toys away and when they are about to burn in the furnace and the toys hold hands, both get me so hard!)

the way this movie came out a week after my high school graduation. I went to see it with my friends after work and was in shambles - this movie was perfectly timed for us 90s kids
The guy who voiced Andy voiced the first Andy. They couldn’t find someone to voice Andy so they called the original voice actor of Andy once they heard his voice on the phone they immediately hired him.
That’s good to know.
I think it's good they did that, it wouldn't feel the same without the original voice actor reprising the role
