I've had the worst luck with these new carriers. I advise Replacing the filter dryers with a sporland Catch all their filters are made in china and the descanicant Is falling apart prematurely
Can you show us any info about how to see if free cooling is calling from the economizer? Also, in the west coast where it gets 135F on the roofs, how do you expect to get any cooling with makeup air coming? The unit aint designed for this weather
So…… funny story. I wasnt positive if there was a schraeder behind that switch but I WAS positive there was one in the carrier port that they don’t remove from. So I removed my splitter to be safe and the the switch to find that there was NOT a schraeder core and it would have gotten ugly real fast.

Guessing you swap the HP switch without draining the refrigerant? I wonder how much is lost.

You just need more heat on your welds they not that bad
Yeah that was always my problem. Those from like 4 years ago I finally learned to heat it up, lay it down, and get off it. 👍
