  • Gary is back after a crash at Shenandoah nearly totaled RED, the 1986 Saab 900 Notchback. Luckily with some special equipment, the 900 was unbent and reassembled back to racing condition!

I so miss my 900T. That viewpoint and sound brought back lots of memories.

Saab two strokes. Nothing beats that sound. Not even a V8.

This is an inline 4, 4 stroke Saab tho.

@@CardboardSliver Not at the end of the video. And also in general i love Saab two strokes. Evry time you go to a Saab meeting and hearing all those two strokes driving away at the end of it. Best sound.
Or not at the very end. At around minute 4. The best sounding AND looking saab. Even the v4 Saabs are nice.

Love the sound of that engine in the 900!

Stock block but bored out to 2.2L displacement. Aftermarket pistons with TRD rods. Runs a 60mm turbo with 18 ish pounds of boost. Car has been converted to run on Tironic 5, a computer from a later SAAB. Transmission is a 4 speed dogbox. Got to ride along with Gary in this thing and it’s absolutely bonkers
