Analysing Rivers State Political Crisis

Governor SiminalayiFubara of Rivers State and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike have been at loggerheads over the political control and resources of the state.
According to the present Governor, his administration inherited a “huge debt burden” from Nyesom Wike.
Recall that last year, Twenty-seven members of the Rivers house of assembly left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) which stirred controversy in the state
