Guys you're forgetting that Brighton had to get a new manager and he's just picked up where potter left and if anything has improved them, if potter was that good a manager he should be able to improve our players. Sad thing is our players barring a few are getting worse
Unpopular opinion here...the problem isn't boehly not having enough knowledge of football...owners sometimes don't and will learn on the Job...City's owners were like that too... relatively inexperienced...while I agree that Tuchel was a victim of Boehly's naivety...our main issue I keep saying is the players...and it's been like that since the days of Sarri...the only difference was that there was an Eden Hazard to pull the team by the neck...we have succeeded in paying so much for low quality players especially in our midfield and attack...reason why a coach like Tuchel couldn't improve them and reason why no club is trying to take them off our hands...I know someone will mention Kovacic and Jorginho but then I felt lewis Hall made more passes into the final third than any of them...and this is the reason why our last good goal scorers played with Hazard and then Willian...players who weren't afraid to go for goals and attack not these sideways and back passing players....it says more when the only attacking threat in the team is a defender...other teams know this and they are exploiting it to the maximum...they know Chelsea ain't never going to threaten their goal and so they aren't bothered when they play us....I once said if halaand plays in this team he won't get 10 goals in a season...a lot of the players need to go and I'm sorry if Potter really wants to be successful he'd need to be ruthless...I mean very ruthless and send some players packing...that's one of the things a Mourinho or Pep will do. It was this lack of ruthlessness that affected Tuchel during the end of his era...coaches must realize that in a team like Chelsea if you aren't the players will cost you your job...well Ultimately it's not about the price of the player the player must also have the heart and our academy players look better than those in the first team now.

Watched your keeper yesterday, never once did a goal kick , threw the ball sideways around 10 foot each time ,then expected his defenders to play it out , Newcastle front 2 just kept putting them under pressure, but it never changed the whole game
Tough one as that's obviously a tactic thing. Several times he looked for quick releases but they aren't there. We did used to do a fair bit of counter breaking but it's changing now. To be honest I remember for years back to check we lost possession so much through goalkeeper kicks. I don't think you should be so rigid and if the quick kicks there take it if you need to play from back do that but don't just have one way of doing it
