Other than that, I think he is great coach and should never have been sacked

It’s very frustrating for for sure. I it’s a mixture of everything. I feel sorry for potter though as he’s not had a chance to actually have many sessions to solely concentrate on getting his philosophy over to the players. It’s literally match tactics every 2/3 days. I know it’s the same for every team but most have settled managers and squads with multiple pre seasons etc.

Lewis got it spot on. No formation, no starting lineup, no front three, no midfield, and no backline that we can put out right now is going to get results. Potter has rotated the squad, used different formations, tried different starting lineups, and none of it has worked. So CLEARLY it’s a player problem. We cannot change 24 players!!! This squad won the champions league a few months ago. Not all bad. Plus we paid 300M to bring players in the summer! We have received serous reinforcements. Do not blame only the players. Remember TT had almost same players and finished 3rd in a season that Roman was forced to sell and there was no future and he been attacked by all. It is only the manager who is responsible.

As an arsenal fan I'd like to say that give Potter a chance. Just look at the criticism Arteta faced when the squad wasn't good enough. And look how we are playing now with the squad he has built. It would be madness to get rid of Potter. He hasn't even had a transfer window to himself. He'll find a decent combination with players he has along the way to get u into the top 6 now. You'll have to give him atleast since Christmas next year

You've got better players than most teams given the amount you've spent. It's mainly down the the style you're playing. It's 80% down to Eddie Howe in Newcastles change.

@@_1Solo that UCL is the equivalent to lipstick being slapped on a pig. It covered what we should’ve been doing 3 yrs ago, which was rebuilding the midfield. It’s gonna be a painful transition but I’m willing to wait a yr bc of the fact we will actually build something sustainable. Tuchel was not Bohley’s guy and the fact the players didn’t want to play for him anymore (which is not debatable it is fact) means we had to let him go. And I hated that move but the writing was in the wall. We just have to accept it for what this is. A real rebuild🤷🏾♂️. Just have to go thru a lot of pain to get to sustained glory

I feel the potential world Cup players aren't putting in a full shift. They are playing really safe and with a lack of enthusiasm/confidence.

The problems run through the whole set-up.
Owners - American owners who care more for profit and less about football do not bode well for the future. A self-appointed director of football eager to remove every trace of the Abramovich era and buying overpriced players in non-critical positions was always going to backfire.
Coach - I don't think GP is good enough for a top club like Chelsea. He was helped by the media hype but he's still working with a Brighton-level mentality. In his short time, he seems to favour English players more & the media gives him a soft landing. There's no reason for RLC to keep starting over Zakaria or Gallagher over Pulisic. Gallagher is a poorer version of Mount, why play both together? Why play Sterling in positions where he's not running at defenders? Still unsure of his 1st eleven or playing pattern. Our football is slow, boring, backwards and crap.
Players - We have no midfield. No creativity or solidity. Just lots of running around and back passing. Players afraid to take on another player, play a forward pass, take a risk going forward or God forbid try shooting at goal. Our strikers are so starved it is so frustrating.
Attack - I love Broja's passion and hardwork. I would start him & Auba. They need better service. Havertz is not a Number 9!
Midfield - Bench Kova and J9. Start Zakaria for solidity and Chukwuemeka or someone else who can pass the ball without fear.
Defence - Hall should bench Cucu. Try a 3rd keeper in place of Mendy - dude flaps at shots and cannot pass accurately. Selling Christensen was a mistake & so was buying the Leicester guy. James needs competition at RB and is picking up frequent injuries.
It's not a good time to be a Chelsea fan and if things keep getting worsè we might be up for sale like Liverpool in a few years....who knows?
