- In today's video, we'll be running EVERY SINGLE D&H locomotive and rail car in the collection, thus making this a D&H-a-palooza! There's a mixture of trains from different eras and manufacturers, including a lovely MTH Alco RS-11 which is something you don't ever see over here on R's Trains! Most the conventional trains hate anything slow, so when something with cruise control enters the layout it feels radically different! I wish more of my trains had some sort of cruise control as I love it when things creep around the corners and take ages to pass over crossings haha. Gives me time to take in the detail!!
Realistic operating speeds are essential in completing the "illusion" on a detailed layout.

Thank you David!! Most of my Postwar and MPC conventional trains don't like running at low speeds, so to run something thats buttery smooth and likes to go slow is always a treat haha. Thanks for the comment!!

MTH did an awesome job with the sounds on this one! Looks like an alco, moves slow like an alco, sounds like an alco! Only thing that was missing was the heaps of smoke lol! Thanks for the comment RailChief!

Thank you BerkshireGuy!! My D&H focus will be much more into HO than O, but if I find some cool D&H pieces in O scale for a good price I won’t say no!! O scale will always be freelance with all railroads but HO scale is strictly D&H and other lines I have a connection to. Thanks for watching!
