    Great review just order the drop out bag! They now have a 2.0 which allows you to carry your one stick.

    Hi love your Chanel and your reviews. I’m looking to get into one stick climbing. But I live up in Canada. So it’s tougher to get saddle gear up here. Just wondering if there are any pages or groups you could refer me to were I might pick up some used saddle gear that other guys are selling?

    I noticed in your later video that you had carabiners on each end of the bow rope...kinda necessary isn't it? I do have a question. Do you prefer this bag over the roll pouch? If so, why? I don't know if I'm coordinated enough with my left hand to have my prussik over on that side, so I'd probably stick my lineman's rope in a pocket on the left side. Lots of options, I guess.

  • @skipnoid3791
    @skipnoid3791 Před 3 lety

    Another great review and super-cool pouch. My only question is where you girth hitched your LB to the left loop. Assuming you're a righty, isn't it hard to manage your prussik/Kong with your left hand?

    When going in blind to new areas do you prefer one sticking or carrying a few climbing sticks? I am new to saddle hunting and Im trying to decide to buy several top of the line climbing sticks or get a one sticking set up for this season.

    • @SaddleHunter
      @SaddleHunter  Před 3 lety +2

      I go in blind a lot. For me, I think the choice between multiple sticks and a one stick would depend on the terrain that I was heading into. If I was hunting big woods, timber, ag, etc. (anywhere with "normal trees") I would take the one stick. If I was hunting primarily swamps with tiny, scraggly, probably severely leaning trees I would take multiple sticks.

    Is there a reason that you did not roll up your rope using the figure 8 method that you demonstrated in your video on the roll pouch? Will the figure 8 method work with a drop out bag?

    • @SaddleHunter
      @SaddleHunter  Před 3 lety

      Yes it absolutely will. I either figure eight it or do a simple hand and elbow wrap because the bag is deep enough to fit the rope that way.
