This reminds me a lot of my Earthquaker Fuzz Master General in the Mode 3 position, which is described as "Open, pure transistor drive." I always loved that pedal for experimental sounds and I thought someone should make a pedal that just does that. It seems that the Harmonic Equalizer is it. To me it almost sounds like slight ring modulation, with the guitar signal itself acting as both the carrier and modulator instead of introducing an independent LFO signal. It sounds really cool when you play 5ths or octaves, or intervals going up the natural overtone series. Thanks for the review.
Sorry to say, this is my first time hearing this pedal, but it sounds amazing. That Bilt is absolutely beautiful, but I can't do that three-pickup setup. My picking style leads me to hit that middle pickup way too often...
Hey Ryan, check out the Peacock Overdrive by MLA (Missing Link Audio). It's supposed to sound like Duane Allman. They also have pick ups and an interesting story behind those. Check 'em out, PLEASE!
This sounded better in the mix or maybe it was the the Bilt guitar with it. Sounds better on leads than chunking. Not crazy about this one. But a good demo!
That pedals rad isn't it supposed to be two interface pedals combined like a harmonic percolator with a eq pedal they had too I love that bilt guitar it's sweet
Yeah I looked it up and I was wrong about it I just remember seeing it in pedal crush and thought it was the same one as a different pedal I got it confused because of where it was made

some things sound better in full band settings. it’s super common.
Really wild. 😎
Where's the Bass, you said you were going to demo?
it’s on the track. i’m not a confident enough bassist to play all on it’s own.

i actually asked about any relationship between this and the HP-1 and i was told they are completely different things.

You're thinking of the Part Garden.

Looks well made. Just not my flavor.
