Gameboy player disc and animal crossing both only spin the disc to start up and then stop. The gb player hardware takes off at that point and in the case of animal crossing, iirc all of the game is so small it just need to start and the gamecube doesnt need to read the disc for anymore info

This was the exact same tech sony would use six years later in the sixaxis controller, claiming the tilt tech was too advanced to include rumble along with it.
That was a lie, they actually were sued along with ms and nintendo for using patented rumble tech. The other 2 paid but sony didnt want to.

Heyy! I own the Kirby game! I love seeing other people who have older consoles. I've recently been going back and playing 64 games, GameCube games, Gameboy games, because when I was younger (I just hit my teens recently), instead of getting me a newer game console, my mom gave me a Gameboy, the first game I've ever played was Pokemon Blue.
