From the first time The Beatles performed in America, every contract contained a clause that they would not perform before a segregated audience. One southern promotor tried to slip a segregation clause into the contract. The Beatles said 'Nope'. The promotor caved and The Beatles performed before an integrated audience.

The instrumental they played at first was the theme song of the show they were on.

🫶🏽 McCartney is considered one of the greatest vocalists of all time. 5-octave range and can do so many things with his voice. 🤯

This is the one. The one where you get to see the crowd stand up and sing with the Beatles at the end.

Back then, crowds could get out of hand too. Im pretty sure the people in the background were trusted friends and aquaintances.

One of the great kumbaya feel good songs of all time. If you'd like to hear 70,000 people singing it, Paul McCartney played the Super Bowl halftime show in 2005

It was written by Paul MCartney, John wasn’t involved.

How about at 10:43, left side of screen near the top, is a young guy who looks a lot like teen-age Paul.

Written by Sir Paul McCartney and the late John Lennon. This song 🎵 was written to comfort Julian Lennon. His father John divorced Cynthia and replaced her with Yoko Ono.
Suggested video 📹: The Beatles perform Let It Be.
Julian Lennon was in The Philippines 🇵🇭 2 years ago. He liked being there unlike The Beatles. They were there in the 1960s but hated being there because of Ferdinand Marcos.

It was scripted for sure... it's in a TV studio... but it's still a great moment

@@1967PONTIACGTO I mean, the music joke and "It's now or never" screaming were absolutely jokes that they wanted to do just to break the 'greatness' of their show and also to break their tension and to have fun, it wasn't scripted like they sit on table with manager saying "well let's make a show to entertain people"
