World Series Major League Baseball for the Intellivision was also surprisingly good.
I think Baseball Stars Professional is my favorite home run sequence. The announcer schtick just makes it for me. He hit that ball a country mile!
Is it me, or did Pete Rose actually do some good for baseball with his baseball game for the Atari 2600? Seriously, in comparison to the other Atari 2600 titles, it makes them look, well, amateurish, and it is also so well done that it nearly looks like an NES game.
In the early 80s my friend had a coleco vision or intellivision and he thought it was the coolest thing ever. Even though Im a gaming addict I couldnt care less. The arcades CRUSHED those systems at the time. I never understood how anyone could choose to play those ancient systems for more than 1 minute.
Some people have nostalgia for their childhood, some of these people collect games for those, as you call them, "ancient systems". You might not have the love for them, but some people do.
Me and my friend Derick would play Home Run Derby in Reggie Jackson Baseball on the SMS for hours and hours. I own all of the classic systems today that I played as a kid back in the 80s (Atari 2600, 5200, Intellivision, ColecoVision, SMS, NES, Genesis) and the baseball game I play the most is Bases Loaded on the NES and World Championship Baseball on the Intellivision, but almost everyday I throw in Reggie Jackson on my SMS for some Home Run Derby. Awesome vids, I love the idea

Had the Colecovision game had a better frame rate, better looking players on the wide field view, and some voices, then it would have dominated its competition, hands down.
a better controller too, the super action controllers are pretty unwieldy
@benjie414 i suppose i could do gameboy with help from either the super game boy or gameboy player, but with other classic handhelds my only route to record video would be through emulation, and i would rather not do that.
