This is true, when i took maritime education I have 7 american classmates, studying in the Philippines is cheaper than any country in Asia. The dentistry department has plenty of 1british,2koreans,3people from Dubai and 1 Singaporean.
There parents send them here coz they they saw the Professional Filipino s aboard that is doing well and excellent in there job.
Kasi kahit Minor Subject nag aastang Major eh. :D
Totoo yan hahahhaha
Hahahaha true
Lol
Hahahahahha
True🤣
To those bitter crabs who belittle our academic capabilities here in PI must have never worked overseas to compare their prowess with other nationalities. I'd give you a very good example: Honors in Architecture Scotland graduate seems at a lost in construction technology and doesn't even know how to build a ceiling. Westerners are very good in marketing but when it comes to the dirty works, details and behind the scene assignments, they pale in comparison with Filipinos.
Roberto III Gianzon Ha ha ha ! This reminds me of a workmate 30 years ago who graduated from Illinois University with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. One morning she exclaimed, ‘Hey guys, how do you spell “breakfast”! I was so shocked, I was speechless!
Keep the cleanliness, care to environment, no corruption and peace a priority also. Clean beautiful Toilet facilities with maintenance every 1/2 hour with ample supply of water, soap and toilet paper), trash cans in strategic areas. Out of topic but it sure provide attractions to foreign students and tourists.
best comment yet
bago magyabang linis muna ng kapaligiran nuh?
True
In the 70's, there were lots of foreign students from Thailand, Iran, Palestines etc for Bachelors degrees and few from India, Taiwan, Nigeria etc for masteral degrees in MetroManila.

Nagaaral ako dito sa Baguio City and I can say that maraming mga foreign students dito.
Based on my experience, undergraduate educ system in the philippines is a lot better than that of other asian countries, because as what one of the students who was interviewed in this video had said, it has more content. In addition, professors keep on challenging students by giving more papers to work on, assignments, etc. Abroad, since there are usually no limit to the number of students per class (one class can have as many as 300), course work becomes limited. However, when it comes to graduate educ system, i think ours in the Phil lag behind. We focus more on content, theories, etc. which can be googled. Universities abroad give more attention to enhancing students' skills by encouraging/requiring them to participate in international conferences or publish their work in reputable international journals. By doing so, students get to experience how to do research which could compete with those done by their fellow grad students in other countries. I think, we should change our grad school system. Require students to publish. Encourage them to present their work in international academic conferences. Just DO NOT focus on learning theories... Just saying. :)
+Gret S I totally agree, I've studied both in the uk and the philippines and they definitely put more emphasis on the skills rather than the content in the uk. I was learning advanced cell structure at 13 in the philippines while in the UK, that level of content is only taught at A-level Biology when you are 16-18. Although, I still think the UK education system is much much better than the Philippines.
+Gret S I just want to know where you're basing this "experience" from. Did you study elsewhere in Asia?
+Randy Tab What the hell are you talking about "government this" "messed up that"? I asked her where she got the facts from because she said "based on her experience" she agreed with "more content" etc. I asked a simple question (to validate her opinion with facts). I'm not saying her opinion is wrong, I'm asking what her "experience" elsewhere...or maybe it's actually NOT experience but assumptions (about other countries' education). You're inferring too much from my question---shows your defensiveness because of insecurities. And has nothing to do with my question.
+Randy Tab I'm assuming she's assuming? That's why I asked where her experience is OR if she doesn't have 'real experience' (like she said) then she' assuming. YOU are the one assuming. I asked one question and you inferred so much with what I asked. You're the one assuming that because I asked her where she got her experience from (that she could compare) that I assume the worst for the Philippines. You're a silly man. Your defensiveness shows your insecurity about your own country, which you try to hide by uberdefensiveness/nationalism. Here's two dollars get ya self some ice cream and chill the hell out homie.
Maganda ang kultura at very hospitable. Warm people. Always smiling.
Tama iyan, when you earn your degree in the Philippines, your degree is accredited in the U.S.A.
Annie K. You are right but if you are a canadian especially from quebec it is not accredited. You need to start all over. most of us are degree holders but we ended up in the factories and women as domestic helpers
Not all.
One of my classmate was first year college but was admitted in Canada as Senior High School. I don't know which state of Canada
@@jppadullon1591 Canada and USA is different
I didn't say they were the same
Most of them saying is. Very affordable daw kc..

At least there was no mass students shootings in the Philippines not like in America....student s shooting is always an issue .
NO MASS SHOOTING IN THE PHILIPPINES,, BUT THERE IS MASS HUNGER AND MASS POVERTY AND MASS CRIMINALITY AND MASS GANG RAPE AND MASSIVE CORRUPTION,, MADUMI ANG PALIGID, ESTERO PURO BASURA,, AKYAT BAHAY GANG,,SALISI,, POOR DRIVING BEHAVIOUR AT SARI SARING KALOKOHAN AT KATARANTADUHAN,,,, USA IS A SUPER POWER,,,,PHILIPPINES IN A SUPER POOR!!!!

Isa pa, nasa estudyante yan... preparation ko noon ay mag solve ng mga previous questions during the last 3 years.
Wow FEATINEANS. 😀
This video is 7 years old. Philippine public schools rated AT THE BOTTOM among 170+ schools in Asia based on PISA survey.
💕
IF you will search from the past a lot of bright minds and leaders around the world came and study in philippines .
Mura, english/western-oriented, gandang tanawin (beaches/mountains), warm/friendly people, not as strict/conservative as our asean neighbors, party scenes
sa mga private schools ba sila nageenrol or state schools? kailangan ding improve ang university areas ,malinis at ayusin traffic para maengayo mga foreign students. Malakeng business and income din yan sa bansa.
dean and deanbear
Wow
6 years later 🤧🍒
Definitely not a world class, but It is really inexpensive... and the admission process in easy... In other countries, admission is very difficult like in Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing... Good Thing, other countries recognizes Medical education in the Philippines
Good news poh..
Buhay kapa ba?
Medical education in the Philippines is very much recognized in the United states that's why Filipino Doctors and nurses can get into the medical community of the US. Smart move by the American to study in the Philippines. CHEAP tuitions.
Have you heard about the Public School problem right now that there are a lot of students who can't read or write? I've heard from my friends wjo are school teachers in Elementary and high school that they are suppose to let the students pass and promote for the next grade even though they cannot read or write.
How about now?
The main reason Kung bakit maraming foreign students dito sa Philippines it is not because we are world class. It's because the education here is much cheaper.
Last May naopera ako sa Manila Doctors. Yung Doctor na tumitingin sakin Iranian sya at magaling na managalog.
Totoo yan, since nasa Philippines pa ako I met a lot of Iranian studying dentistry, maybe because the tuition is cheaper and working at iran as a dentist or orthodontist makes a lot more money. Koreans study English, Indian anything medical courses, while Americans study maritime courses.
eto dapat ang laging balita puro possitive
I love Philippines
Hehe boy
Wow, iam proud off. Keep going!
Buti pa sela NG aaral say bansa natin.tayu Naman sa I ang bansa NG tatrabahu..
nag aral ako central colleges of the phil sta mesa branch interview ko classmate bakit sa pinas ka nag aaral ,paliwanag niya mas madaling makatapos sa pilipinas kaysa jordan,at maganda edukasyon sa pilipinas .
I am worried in the future Filipinos May compete with foreigners who graduated in our country and lessen opportunity to work abroad.
It would have been better if Filipinos just work here in our country and foreigners abroads here
WOW! GREAT!
GOD BLESS AND PROTECT THE WHOLE PHILIPPINE IN JESUS NAME! AMEN AND AMEN!
The best Chinese School in the Philippines NORTHERN RIZAL YORKLIN SCHOOL 育仁中學 sa Grace Park, Caloocan City ,high standard no.1 sa ENGLISH and CHINESE !
Let's be consistent
So ironic bec Austalia and Canada are are also offering student visas to foreigners to study in their country as one of the stepping stone for migration and work. My husband now is a student in Australia. Schooling are not so strict, 2days/week only for 2 years.
I really like your country, i hope i can visit there soon
Love from usa, unahan sa agdao
yawa hahahahahahah
De la sale , St. Paul , Letran these are one of have a good teaching of English I have a proof of that like my daughter she is paulinian student , look Maine Mendoza she is so smart her knowledge is way beyond

How about giving Filipino citizenships to a child born there with a Filipina mother? 😪 or former Filipino citizen mother at the time of birth of the child? 😪 I hope they change this law basing it on the Father’s citizenship only and Year of birth 😪

Hi Mav love you! 😉
World class???
I wonder they say that Philippines was the "Asia's Education Center" due to Higher demand and very good quality of education, and also schools. Yes, that's definitely true but why does Philippines' universities doesn't included in the World's 100 Best Universities? As of now, UP Diliman, DLSU and Ateneo de Manila we're the top universities included in the list but in Asia only.
Basta gulf country mag maganda lahi nila
Should only be the case for public Universities and colleges.
Diploma is not Honored in Central Europe such as Germany, France, Netherlands, Switzerland, such as also Scandinavian countries , Belgium, and other Eastern European countries,
Who told you eh dami nga filipino nurses diyan..lol
who told you? kahit mahirap nakapagaaral din tinaguyod ng magulang
Kawawa mga pilipino mahihirap di makapag koloheyo
Center of education in Asia? You must be kidding! But I agree that the medical education in the Philippines is very competitive with competitive price.
Sorry but its true...
Not just medical courses.. Filipinos Excel in most academic ourses.
Maritime also
dati pang education center ang pinas c macoy p pres. dto nagpupunta mga asyanong bansa pra mag aral lalo s agriculture
Ang Alam Pinaka Pupuntahan Nila Dito Yung Agriculture... Ngayon Nganga
President okyan ang mga school there mix"
Mayga naging classmates ako na mga India at Korean
Asia's Education Center..? Hmmm..
Peru sahod nila aha!
Tuition fee should not be the same as the local. Same in other countries foreign student are paying more. This will help to minimize the tuition for the local
Lakwatsero Di Naman po talaga same Yung tuition nila kesa mga pinoy students..saka my other fees din regarding sa visa
Lakwatsero.

Eh Ang sahod ??
bakoko kasi sila kaya dito sila mag study.
Daming tseks dto mababango at magaganda
koreans said we're uneducated now they need to see this
Kaya wag turuan Ang mga student Na mag protesta kasi walang maganda maidudulot yan
Yes yes yes..!!
Mura dito kasi mag aral at walang kalidad ang school, ganon un at hindi mahigpit pag mga banyaga oky lng sa atin, ang dami pang sinasabi yan lng nman dahilan kng bakit gusto nla dito
