As a lifelong Louisville fan, that was the peak of Louisville football. And I gotta tell ya, watching this unknown third string QB come in and light us up in a game that was basically in hand and determining the Big East champion was something to see. Then seeing it again against Georgia was wild…I just remember my jaw hanging down that whole first half.
I didn’t even realize the epic Thursday night game in Louisville the next year basically gave me this show that I listen to as an adult man. Great stuff!

Love Pat White. As a USF grad, I remember watching him play quite a bit. I wasn’t supposed to be a fan of a rival, but I loved watching him. As a Dolphin fan, I was really excited we drafted him. I felt like he didn’t get a true shot. I remember people saying he was “too small,” and then they felt justified when there was that fluke helmet to helmet (which could have knocked a 6’5 guy out as well). If they developed guys like they do now, I think Miami might have been a much different team. I would have much rather rolled with White than Henne. That’s for sure.
