I've already said this they are going to Xerneas this to the ground.... The company is greedy and doesn't listen to the community people need to understand that.... We are not just boycotting because of one thing the PokeStop distance.... Can't stand those who only sees one thing. The problem is the company is greedy and predatory has no concern for the players. These two will be trash pokemon. Because Niantic wants to milk the money.... Release a real attack move.... Six months later.... Then a shiny form six months after that. I for one is happy just gives me less and less reason to play

@@joesmith201212 these two have better potential though, with Psycho Cut and Snarl as potential moves. Xerneas only had Zen Headbutt, Tackle, and Take Down. Let’s just hope these new ones get their good movesets.
One thing to note is that in their crowned forms they do have signature moves (and in the main series games it replaces iron head when it goes into battle, but it’s not going to matter in Go) Zacian gets Behemoth Blade and Zamazenta gets Behemoth Bash, and they are both steel type moves so I can see them being great in raids for the steel typing (maybe Zacian especially could overthrow Metagross)
You're right, but they won't get their moves until beeing at least 3 years in the game like Groudon & Kyogre etc.

Can't agree more w/ TheTrueMorse64. Zacian is arguably the best pokemon ever, probably along w/ Mega Rayquaza and Mega Mewtwo Y. Crown form stats and moverset confer absolute power and overall supremacy mainly on the Max Raid side where its steel-type signature move Behemoth Blade shines dealing 2x damages on Dynamaxed opponent, solo-ing 5-star raids quite easily. That said, it's the main series game and the way PoGO works at least from the PvE side (quick/charged move mechanism, moveset availability, STAB-reign, Nerfs...), I'm afraid Zacian (and Zamazenta) will be suffering the same fate as Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, Xerneas and most probably Mega Mewtwo's, nerfed to their core pokedex entry and sadly not so much of a use part or merely as a steel-type attacker. I'd like to be completely wrong but Niantic history on this kind of pokemon speaks for itself.
Niantic has a history of Clipping the Fairy wings... expecting a Xerneas repeat...

Zacian will be the next Xerneas. Could be the new best fairy type attacker, but just don`t get a fairy quick move and moonblast as charge move.

The shield dog is going to be an absolute tank in master league , once he hits 1500 blast is useless

Zacian's Za is the same pronunciation as zamazenta's Za, because the cyan and the maganta.

Until they get their crowned form or decent moves I won't be that excited yet though...

The crowned versions are hype!! I wasn't sure if I was going to raid Zacian a lot but I think that's changed
To be honest it makes sense for is sense for the both of them to be raid specialized since they're from the galar region which is all about raids.
Their crowned forms might even have their signature moves. Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash.
Which do more damage to Dynamax pokemon....they could make the moves do more in Raids but have them be a huge charge up
I was looking foward to zacian and its crowned form in the future so much thinking that it would make my master league team unstoppable but wow this is sad
Love the design on both. They feel very Miyazaki, almost too sophisticated to share a stage with pikachu.
The fairy type attacks need a rework most of the charge attacks should have been fast attack

Both seem pretty cool nice too throw a curve ball at us. We expecting my fav region alola and we get more from galar. I love ice types so darmanitan spawning again is nice. Plus chance at getting some more xl candy's for zen mode
I enjoy my Xerneas, because it has a Psychic fast move for poison types, and moonlight as the charged move and it make it's a tank.

When I see the news in pokemon go that zacian and zamazenta debut I quickly sees the moves of them and what I see ie that zacian have potential to learn sacred sword so If It gets that move It will do a good play in the pvp
Thing is, in the main series they both have signature moves that are very powerful, but we still havent seen other legendaries like Groudon or Kyogre get their signature moves in Precipice blades or Origin Pulse, for example. If the crowned forms do get Behemoth Blade/Bash, that could mean a lot for them as Steel Type attackers
Close Combat is a great nuke for PvP, but of course depends what the 2nd charge move would be to cover for it

My guess is that their Behemoth moves will be treated like Origin Pulse and Precipice Blades (about which we're also, admittedly, still speculating).
You can count on niantic to nerf them to the point of unusable!

they also were created to be beasts in defeating gmaxed pokemon which are a play on pogo raids so I wonder if they both will get their respected signature moves that do bonus damage to gmaxed pkm aka raid pokemon from pogo.
They both can learn Metal Claw for fast moves and Play Rough and Close Combat respectively

Does the stats from the crowned forms has the 9% nerf applied to them as they surpass 4000 cp at level 40? I know we still don't know if they will be treated as a mega or just another form, but I think it will be a separate form and as such will be nerfed...also I know the moveset section is oriented towards their typings, but there are some good non stab moves you missed, for pvp at least: zacian with psycho cut and crunch, zamazenta with snarl, crunch and wild charge
The steel/fairy typing will make a great anchor when battling dragon types. Might also see some use in pvp depending what moves it ends up getting in its pool.

You didn’t mention their signature moves like behemoth bash/blade (they’re not on the learn set bc if you have iron head / claw it turns into bash/blade when you change forms) but I guess only lugia and deoxys have their signature moves in terms of legendaries
Niantic not going to release this pokemon with good moves or nerf them or both. We already know how they do good pokemon when they first come out
When they have iron head moveset and then become crowned form, zacian's iron head Will automatically become behemoth blade and zamazenta will have behemoth bash
Oh man...Im afraid Zacian is going to be a Xerneas 2.0 in the fairy department. Then again, it has potential as a steel type attacker, if it ever gets its signature move. The same goes for Zamazenta. Sure, it's not going to be an amazing DPS attacker, but with that defense, it might work well as an anchor in raids.
DPS for raids tankiness might be useful for PvP though

i mean dialgas still pretty good as a raid attacker from both types with dragon breath/draco meteor or metal claw/iron head, and thats because it has good survivability and will survive long, so for zamazenta it could be the same thing and for zacian high attack might be enough to give it some use? with bad movesets the hero of many battles forms wont be much use but the crowned forms might just be enough :)
Tanking long isn’t a good aspect in raids you rather want high dps

For defense pokemon in raid... There should be extra balls for the longest you keept a pokemon alive durring the raid
If zacian crowned gets metal claw and meteor mash (behemoth blade), then goodbye shadow&mega metagross, from the fairy side it can't charm you (in pokemon go if you can't learn how to charm you aren't a fairy type attacker get lost)
They really need to add more fairy quick moves in Pokémon Go. We need more than just charm. Cuz then Pokémon like Zacian and Xerneus get screwed over

Since it's Zacian and Zamazenta's first appearance in Pokemon Go. I don't know what to expect! I mean in anime I've seen them in action. But it's pokemon go, I mean I took out a Mewtwo in PvP with my Vespiquen.
Since it’s their first time in raids, they’ll probably suck. Then a year later get a shiny. Then another year later finally get a decent moveset. The classic Pokémon go formula

I dont like how they are skipping Gen 7 and releasing more Gen 8.
The biggest problem is how Niantic designed what is Quick vs Charge. It kind of pigeon holed these Pokemon on potential. Plus, these specific Pokemon have already a limited STAB move pool and in Pokemon GO, STAB is almost everything when it comes to raids. PvP there is more open elements, but the ones that are listed that are also Quick moves aren't great in the PvP side. So in the end, like Xerneas, they will be not worth going for or be a spicy pick, similar to how Suicune is. Where they will probably get Snarl and a couple of charge moves that work. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They're dex entries especially if Niantic gives them bad movesets. Crowned version same thing, moveset trash = no investment. Seeing how badly Xerneas was pretty much makes future Legendaries and Ultra Beasts will be dependent on how Niantic will give moveset wise.

I am not excited at all about this. It seems that instead of fixing all the issues, they just throw new shiny things in our faces to try to distract us and spend money.

These mon are cool but unless they get their main series game moves they are going to suck in Pokemon Go. Great video most players don't know who these mon are due to them dropping the ms games at earlier Gens

Even though Im in Europe I will still participate in the boycott. So I actually really don't care, no FOMO at all and it feels so good. As long as Niantic doesn't do better than Blizzard Pogo will suffer the same fate as Wow.
The amount of people who aren’t any kind of knowledgeable about Zacien and Zamazenta need to play Sword and Shield already. They are solid games and the Dexit bs was a horrid slander on a great generation.
