@@ducksquidbat8315 if you hold off on investing in things based entirely on assumptions you risk missing out more honestly. If someone used an ETM on a Politoed and used it for like 2 seasons even if it gets nerfed, it was still a good investment. It’s only a bad investment if you ETM and then let it sit around without doing anything with it.

Great league is the weather ball meta at the moment. Invest in any pokemon who has weather ball for great league and you'll reach rank 20 in no time. From there it's really up to you. People will now start experimenting with new combis

I recently gotten a rank 1 (for pvp) shadow hitmonchan, can't wait to use it, but I'll probably have to wait a while before that
I actually just powered up a rank 3 this past weekend! It is fun to use but is squishy
Politoed seems bad in that sense that it requires an elite TM but blizzard just changes the roll of it and can nuke flyers and grass, it actually has a surprise factor to it cause you'll never know the secondary move until launched, you could score shield or even a KO for your opponent not shielding the appropriate move

Shadow Poliwrath is a very underrated pokemon in the great league, beats Azumaril, Stunfisk, Bastiodon, Scrafty and Umbreon

I am not a good PvP player by any means but for Kanto cup I am leading shadow snorlax, safe Hypno and closing with shadow dragonair. This seems to catch people off guard and has been awesome with some 5/5 sets but more importantly has been a ton of fun
Shadow bonus on attacks is major reason I use shadows
Politoed still works well with Blizzard. It's actual strength is its bulk and weather ball spam.
I asked for it in the comments of the last shadow video, and FLW delivers. Sometimes, the system works.
Shadow dragonite is really good in great league and ultra premier, of course also in masters😂 I really love dragonite overall:)

I have had a ton of success running Shadow Snorlax in my Master League team. Also, he can serve as a counter for Mewtwo... sort of. If he had Lick, he can deal a ton of damage. Lick alone should be able to get Mewtwo into the yellow. Shadow Snorlax can tank one Psystrike, so don't burn that first shield unless you absolutely have to. Build up energy, and then throw a body slam. A lot of Mewtwo users will shield that, thinking it could be a Crunch.

I’ve used Abom in GL and he’s a beast, love em! I’d run Zuzu(Azu), Abom, and Skar/Alt/Bast and use Zuzu as the safe swap and Abom as the closer or lead. I also started to play wit Shado Beedrill, who in mainstream games I hated, but here.. I love Shadow Beedrill in GL and I’d just switch him wit Abom

I have had a 86,7% shadow dragon it’s powered up for great league. I want to power it up more tho
I love all the attention Shadows are getting! I’ve been collecting them since day 1. I maxed out 4 before the cost adjustment. They each cost approximately 1m dust and 1k candy. They didn’t even get an attack bonus then. I just love them!

Would be helpful if you showed the ideal iv's for more than just the first league, although it is pretty easy to look it up
They are on the graphics bottom right. Most of the ivs in ultra and below are roughly 0/15/15. You can also use Pokie genie app which can tell you rank when you scan your pokemon
Sometimes it really is just rock paper scissors. One set I went 1-4 and then immediately right after it the next set I went 5-0... So it doesn't matter what type of team you have. As long as it's in the range of the meta just put together a rag tag team and you'll do fine for the most part

I have a shadow Machamp which is supposed to be good in the GL. He hits really hard, but every hit he takes does massive damage to him. I don't really like using Shadow pokemon in pvp.
After i reached rank20, i use triple shadow team in Great League with high atk fast move to speed up the game, win big or lose quick, save me a lot of time! And it doesn't even need 2nd charged move! 🤣

Shadow mewtwo is my trump card in ultra league. Don't have the stardust or candy to max it out so I like it how it is
