  • "Kid-Safe" your ponies before they are ridden by any child using this technique.
    👉 During Grandkids and Pony Day, we needed to get this little mare mentally ready for my Granddaughter to ride.
    ✅ You would rather have the pony getting tight and wound up, and running off from the flag than when a small treasured human is on its back, leaving too much room for the potential danger of falling or being thrown off.
    ▶ Notice the moments where the pony moves into agreement and understanding, and the timing of my all-important release to let the pony know that she has stepped into my picture.

    Note: Only use a flag as an extension of your hand and to communicate energy... Do NOT use a whip that can cause pain.

    Love your videos , I am learning so much from you , I have a question , well doing groundwork how can you slowdown a horses lope , to prepare the horse for under saddle ,thank you 😊

      Get his inside hind to cross in front of the outside hind and then let him return forward he will slow down when he starts watching you instead of just running an leaning and pushing
