Hey radbrad, thanks for the heart, I watched you since you played the walking dead survival instinct (man how old that is ) Tips about the game, Ap Shells are good if your guns can penetrate, use them when an enemy is showing their side to you if they are showing their back or front then they will bounce due to the angle , so switch to HE if you can’t penetrate so you can use to set fires. And use your torpedos if you have them, great against any shop type but the number one rule is always lead your target hope you can play this game more it’s fun but its on console and they don’t seem to have much but it’s really fun at times keep up with the good video, oh check out this game called warthunder it’s amazing and maybe you’ll like it, it’s like this but has tanks, airplanes, and boats as well

A little tip, armor piercing is best used when ships show their side while high explosive is best used when ships are angled and are good at setting ships on fire.

Hey Brad, some tips for you... Use AP at broadsides near the water line to hit citadels for massive damage. HE for battleships that are facing you as AP shells well mostly bounce or shatter, aim at their superstructure to cause fires. And when your using destroyers and cruisers keep moving and don't present you side to other cruisers and battleships as they well citadel you..

Nice vid! Just some advise, when shooting lead the target as shells take some times to travel. Also don't aim too high, just aim near the water line. And remember to use torpedoes during close combat. :)

I love RPGs and I also fell in love with this because of my love for military and this is actually new for me for I normally encounter ground or airforce and not navy.
This is actually well polished and semi-realistic.
CCs conquer agility and destruction. A glass cannon perhaps with their torpedoes.
CVs are all rounders, they normally assists the CCs on capturing.
BBs on the other hand, is the most boring to use, but mainly the tank on some other games, and the sniper on shooter games.
Carriers are the support and for me, they are the hardest to use but also the most satisfying.
Fabulous have the classes all mixed up buddy CVs are carriers, DDs are destroyers, CAs are heavy cruisers, CLs are light cruisers, BBs are battleships

I still remember playing this on old pc and it used to heat up a lot and now its just 90mb on android store still a big fan of the game
Here's some advice. You don't always fire at the water line. Use Your Best Judgment and gauge after your first shots. Here's another, at long distance, First fire HE shells, Once on fire, switch to AP. Try keeping them on fire. The first one they normally put out, just keep at it. You can BOUNCE shots in this game as well, just not like in World of Tanks. HE is Great to counter this as well. I think beginners should primarily use HE. Heck, I shoot more HE than AP. Go for the middle front and primary middle of top of ship. Don't try shooting the side to get a side shot unless it can't be helped. Last thing, learning your shells trajectory. Some guns shoot higher than others. I wished when I first started I would have played the Destroyer line and Crusier for back up.

Brad, love your vids and hope to see another vid of WoW when your more experienced. Tip of advice in this game you have 4 classes of ships destroyer, cruiser, battleship, and carrier. They haven’t added carriers in the console versions so no sweat. You need to understand these types of ships and how they play. Like how cruisers are meant to take out destroyer and destroyers can easily take out battleships with torpedos (which are one of the most useful and painful weapons in the game) and how battleships and mostly used as snipers with their heavy arty (doesn’t always have to be like this). Understanding the role of these ships allows you to play a certain way. Also cruisers have torpedoes making them the best ship to start with in my opinion.Hope you read this and make another vid

Lead your shots when ships are moving and the circle on the map is your range and he shells are used to set ships on fire so aim for the bridge and ap is used for the hull and guns so aim there

What kind of ammunition to use is very dependent on what your guns are and what you are shooting at, generally if your target is a destroyer or an aircraft carrier, your best choice of ammunition is high explosive, for cruisers or battleships, the choice of ammunition depends on how well angled your target is.
If your target is broadside on to you, that is if the target is alongside you, armor piercing(or torpedoes, the underwater missile things, if you have them) is best.
If the target is moving directly toward or directly away from you, high explosive is best

You suppose to shoot ap when broadside or else your shell bounces when they angle. He is good for setting ship on fire if you shoot mostly at the superstructure. Cruiser are more likely to shoot he and bb will mostly shoot ap.

WG really do still need to sort the tutorial system out though. There's WAY more going on in that game than is obvious for new players to see. Like the ship you sailed out in has a massive citadel. If Wyoming had aimed for your water line with AP, you're done in one salvo.
MoA-Reload... luckily I played blitz before getting the actual game so I had an idea of how it’d be like and even that was hard for me I remember going. Into my first game and saying, “wait what are the controls?” And being super confused about how the. Gameplay is like on pc and all that stuff
@@derickvo317 yeah, Blitz and the console version Legends are like the semi skimmed versions. Full fat World of Warships is almost a totally different game. If you want to learn more about the game and pick up some tips another fantastic thing that the devs do is their Community Contributor programme. There are a number of CZcamsrs that get access to test ships and new content. Search The Mighty Jingles, Flambass or Flamu for 3 of the best imo. I have content up too but less to learn from that beyond colourful Scottish vocabulary 😇

When I first saw the St louis I literally thought it was a very old cruise liner.
Not a heavily armed cruiser
Get the last upgrade for it and you can have 8 guns facing broadside. One turret on the stern, one turret on the bow, and six guns per side. Fuck *everything* in that general direction.

Is it possible to have the camera following our shells on ps4 like on pc?

AP shells are good for dealing more damage then a HE shell that is if it penetrates the armour and you can also do critical damage and disable functions of the ships like turret's, rudder, engine etc or land a critical hit on the citadel which does a ton of damage on a ship HE shells are good for dealing consistent damage as they always damage on a hot and if landed on a critical section can set it on fire and do a crap ton of damage over time so I'd use AP for ships around the same size or smaller depending which ship you use as they'd have a higher chance of penetrating the armour but I'd use HE against ships that are larger then you from a distance say if your a destroyer or cruiser use HE on a battleship then maybe AP when closer

I'm kind of surprised to see you playing World of Warships Legends Brad, and I have some advice for you. The farther the target then you need to put more lead with your shots that's why at long range your shots don't hit. Another thing torpedoes have a wide spread and a narrow spread, but the British cruisers and destroyers have single fire and narrow spread and you need a crap ton of lead. The white with torps is the recommended firing arc based on a targets speed and heading. I know you probably want to learn this stuff on your own but this comment is for any other new players as well watching your video. Glad to see you playing this though, hope to see you in battle although I play on Xbox so. 😁

The large ships are battline ships. There armored, and slow. They pack a bif punch but you can easily avoid there guns sense there turrets are also slow. AP works best ageinst them I think.
