Did she fix the issue no, we still have inequalities but she did put the issues under the spotlight.. When it comes to Madonna she is more than a singer, dancer, actress, writer, businesswoman, etc. As she said herself before ,she is the art she creates. From her sounds to her lyrics, to her videos, her stage performances are all a part of a masterpieces she creates. Her first two albums, she was not so free in charge, yet you can still see and feel her individuality. After 1986, with True Blue she was almost in full control of her creativity and still is today. She paved the way, opened the doors for many women. Beyoncé's goal was to create an empire like Madonna when she was asked in early 2000's, Rihanna said she wanted to be black Madonna when she started. Look at those Queens where they are at now. There is even a business plan called 'The Madonna method' created based on her career in the late80's. She's been a study subject in many universities. Madonna is literally the only one of her kind artist alive today, long live the Queen. Please keep in mind that she is much more than the most famous popstar of all time.

The reaction after the music video was that a lot of girls copied her looks and they were called the Madonna wannabes. The music video director of the music video was Mary Lambert who also directed Madonna's Like a Virgin, Material Girl, La Isla Bonita and Like a Prayer music videos. For me I can relate to this song's lyrics and message in my relationship to my father.

There are 3 super stars that the world will never repeat again, sadly only 1 remains elvis, Michael Jackson and the beautiful madonna....sadly she doesn't get as much respect as the other 2 as madonna likes to push people's buttons trying to change the wrongs of the world .
