Second gen is the better car in every way but there is something about the styling of the first gen that I still like better. And that's coming from someone who owns a second gen!
@@carantix it's not much of an issue, just an exaggerated mess. Oil pressure is but only during tracking. Drop the pan n clean it 1x n done if you're really worried.

Frankly if you can find a cheap one under 15k, maybe salvage and add force induction you could end up liking it a lot too, for less. The counter-argument though is that the new one already feels like it has a power mod, it shows has a lot more potential for modding too (assuming you break or end the warranty first).

The first gen really does just have a uniqueness to it that makes the styling so good!
I couldn’t agree more. As someone who owned a frs previously and now gr86. The gen 1 styling will forever be timeless
I wish this video was out when I was deciding which one to purchase! It would have made my decision sooooo much easier! 💯🔥🔥🔥
Decision was always easy, gotta go 2nd gen
Having owned both, glad i have a 2nd gen, can never go back to the frs. It's a nice upgrade.
The move over to the 2nd gen from the 1st is definitely a great decision. Just wished it didnt have the issue with the RTV :/

sick, looks great!@@carantix
Sorry for the late response but no problem and thank you bro! ❤️❤️
2nd gen ftw
The only thing the 2nd Gen have is the better engine. Everything else is subjective.
This is very true! The new FA24 is really the only big difference between cars other than the looks which is very subjective to your taste and needs!

@@Rob165xplus you’re going a lot over 15k at that point and severely decreasing reliability.
