Thanks for showing us how to change the oil, coolant, and cabin air filters.
From a fellow Aston Martin V8 Vantage owner make sure to change the air filters. They are under one of the wings in the engine bay. Many AM dealers don't do it even when it has gone in for a full service, as they are difficult to reach. You can tell the difference in power once they are changed.

I totally get your feeling when working on cars and it´s just a PITA.... You just hate it when everything just fights you but it´s really satisfying when you finally get it done and cheats the shop on a substantial repair bill! 🤩💪

Hey Jackson! A piece of advice for next time, i dont know if that screw was torqued or not but sometimes if you take a pair of linemans pliers or needle nose, you can use the tip of them to grab onto the screw and turn it like a normal screwdriver would. Also, to check if there is metal in the oil, try using a magnet (unless it isnt magnetic) Great video either way, I always look forward to you uploading!

@Captain Crankshaft, I would buy a liqui molly engine cleaner, put it in the oil let it run for 5 minutes and drain it again. Then put fresh new oil in. I would also use a Liqui Molly fuel injector cleaner if you plan to reuse the same fuel system since the car sat for so long. This isn't that expensive and will help the car run a lot better over time.

Just a tip for next time,if you use an impact on low with pressure, the bolts would have come out much easier. Okay to use impact to remove, just not to install. But love to see what you guys are doing!

Next time you come across a bolt with a small head but a high torque rating, use an electric or air impact instead of a ratchet just because the ratchet will often times end up stripping it; but a impact doesn’t just go one way, when the bolt is super tight it’ll actually go both forwards and backwards thus making it much easier for the bolt to come out without stripping. Speaking from experience

Next up i would love to see the door panels installed cuz it's such a pain to see aston with doors that look like that from the inside :D
Next time you drain oil put a little magnet near the stream to see if it has any metal in it. For extra causion change the oil every like 300 miles or so to catch if there is a problem with the engine or not. You can also ask your friend to check it
