- My Husband returns for R&R for two weeks from Afghanistan May 10, 2012 and surprises our six wonderful children. The certainly missed him so much!! This video shows the love a father he has for his children and the love his children have for him. There is nothing better then FAMILY!!!

milchundmehl my mom had 8 kids, I'm the ONLY girl and all my brothers are older than me except for two....I have a twin and a younger brother by two yrs. I know from watching my,mom, that it is hard to raise kids that many kids alone....my dad was a logger and that required him to be away all the time, so my mom was raising us by herself, but she got through it. There is another set of twins, and they just started college....they share mine and my brothers birthday so we are all really close....I'm gonna miss them so much. My oldest brother is 19 and moved to Kansas I miss him more than anything....the rest of,my brothers are still here and I'm glad for that I love them so much and dont know what I'd do without all 7 of my personal body guards/punching bags/bullies that I call brothers!😊😊😊😂😂

When I was 3 my dad had to leave for 3 months to find work. My mom said I cried every day. Seeing him again was the best day in my life!

My husband had three hardships tours during his military career and seeing this video brought tears to my eyes remembering how our three daughters missed their dad.
These videos always bring me to tears, reminds me of when my son came back from Iraq. 😭😭😭
In tears after watching this.....and then finding out the dad's visit is only for 2 weeks! Wow.........really puts things into perspective for those of us who don't have to see our loved ones leave. So emotional - Bless all these families.

The first time through you watch the kids' reactions. The second time through you can just imagine how that man's heart is bursting at getting to hold his kids again.

Every one of these soldier-home videos has a huge number of vile nasty comments by people with Arab names who call our soldiers baby killers and murderers and rapists and even wish their families would die. I report them as hate speech, and they are deleted. THOSE are many of the jerks who Dislike these loving videos. When you see those comments, please report them. I just tonight reported one that talked about how great it would be for all the babies in the video to die. Arab name.

Im going into the British Army as a Combat Medic in October this year. I am not a murderer as you put it. I go in to help save lifes of those who need it.
Our Troops do a hell of a lot out there to save lifes of those back home who are at threat. As well as those innocent kids and families over there where they are. They are not murderers they are doing a job that takes a hell of a lot to do. I will be PROUD to serve in the army this year.

Omg i was so hart broken when i saw this i started crying sp fast. It must of been so hard for all the kids that had parents in the army stuff and its really hard to not cry at something soooooooo awesome to be at school and seeing ur parent/parents there surprising u and seeing them for onece in how many days weeks monthes or even years.
