Father of Air Force Lieutenant gets the ultimate surprise at his 70th birthday party.
The story: Rich Sr.'s surprise 70th birthday party took a playful turn when a large gorilla turned up at the front door with a balloon. Little did he know that inside that gorilla suit was his son, Rich. Jr. - a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. A special pre-taped message from his son brought tears - but nothing compared to the tears that flowed when the pre-taped message ended, and his son revealed himself in-person. Strangely, I learned how to be a great Dad by learning from my Father’s poor parenting skills. I just thought I would give a little credit to this fine example. You can tell his family is crazy about him, all gathered around him and all.

My dad loved us and took care of us. He worked hard, but he was not the type of person who wanted to draw attention to him.

Jack Son Have you seen the one where the son comes to the father's work place to surprise him? The secretary starts to get all teary eyed, he knocks on his dad's office and of course his father starts balling and he was in a meeting and the other guys in the meeting just sitting there with a huge smile on their face, it is my personal favorite.
this son is so sweet because he really does miss his son and i know how that feels i don't get to see my dad alot and i miss him alot and i can feel his reaching out to his dad and seeing him but duty calls but he will be home soon so he can see him and i know it is hard for the family to watch there son go to war but it will be ok and he will come home alive too

My father passed away when I was 5. I'm the only son and my mother never remarried. I love big and loud families, lol. And this gave me the feels... :)

lol, I do it once a month to remind myself of not only what I am missing, but what those Service Personnel are still doing now that I have left. Its humbling to say the least :) x
I watch them at least once a week, and I don't know why I keep doing it. I watch it, I immediately start balling my eyes out.. lol
