Find an empty space in the bar, click the area, and CTRL + W. The bar will disappear. I haven't tested bringing it back.

What video recording and editing software are you using?

Hi! We're usually using OBS to record the screen and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit our videos. However, for this video we had to use a capture card and an extra PC to record because the screen share options bar doesn't show up on any recordings created by recording software!

@@WorkplaceBuddy THANK YOU! I was running into the same issue with not being able to capture the screen sharing bar.
How does a capture card work?

A capture card is a physical device that essentially "captures" the HDMI signal coming from a PC you have connected to it, and sends it to another PC you have also connected to it. Using specific recording software on the second PC you can then record whatever the first PC is currently displaying, bypassing any restrictions that software might have. Which is why the Teams screen share bar remains visible on our recording.
You can also use a capture card to record video game consoles and other devices that use HDMI to output graphics. A very handy tool to have in the video creation toolbox!
