🚀Star Citizen referral code STAR-N56X-Y32W to get 5,000 in-game credits
Thanks for watching! - Hry
I see you are a fellow immersion and fidelity junkie. Love your videos :)
CIG need to add mild foam/vfx at object intersection with water and it's good
and fix rivers
omg this, tons of foam and splash sounds when something interacts with it and if done right it's peak immersion
This game is going to be insane! ❤
now imagin a subnautica style alien ocean planet with ancient ruin and creature beneath the surface
Hopefully CIG reads your comment. Awesome ideas! Underwater game loops, creatures etc
Great idea
Beautiful. I wonder if the dynamic water caustics are based on what's left of CryEngine's code. Crysis 3 had similar effects.
This game will look phenomenal once ray tracing (especially GI) is enabled
I mean, lots of CryEngine stuff remains in StarEngine. Just very much iterated upon by this point. CryEngine had some surprising physics capabilities, limited by the hardware of the time.
Can't wait until we can swim, figure it won't be long since it's similar to how Eva works
Cant wait for swimming suit for explore under the sea
depends on priorities though. It could be worth 6months of prototyping, development and polishing... but that time may not be scheduled for years. I can't wait though, it'd be great to interplay with the survival mechanics: lose gear to lighten up and avoid drowning but expose yourself to the elements more.
@rhetor4mentor13 I had figured it'd be necessary to have in for sq42 but who knows
Nice... now they need to consider buoyancy.
I'm pretty sure any space suit would have enough displacement that it would float. So now their next task would be swimming and designing actual diving suits.
They can probably use a modified version of their new EVA mode to pull this off.
Thanks for sharing this.
Great video wow
finally star citizen has better water than crysis 1. 2 years ago i didnt know if that would ever happen. looks awesome, im happy
so good
i think maybe they could add some dust thats suspended in the water, under water.
CIG needs to add water splashes SFX
It's a lot less slimy now, that's good to see
Does this work in the 890’s pool?
Pitumbu juice is the goat
That walking against the wind tho... Can't believe its still ingame
4:22 I can't help but notice the screen bleeds of the water surface reflection of objects Infront. It breaks so much immersion with this technique of rendering. Why Star Citizen why. Why must there be screen reflection bleeding for the sunlight!!!!!!!!!
Wym
@@runipaulino6268I have no clue what this guy is saying 😂
I think he might mean the issue with screen space rendering not rendering reflections at the edges of the screen?
@@thumpertron oh got it
raytracing would fix that.
